Kappys is just unique! A fantastic place. Great price. Fast and easy to order. This place has been in Orlando for years and it is very well known by the community
This is a local tradition. About the best subs and cheese stack you can find in central Florida.
Good eating

Ordered a chocolate milkshake. There was barely any chocolate in it. And the milk may have been bad as I developed a stomachache shortly after drinking a little bit of it. I could not finish it.Don't order a milkshake.

We learned about Kappy's when they almost closed but this is our first time dining here. We can't imagine going anywhere else for cheesesteaks and burgers anymore. Thank y'all for the amazing lunch! The eggplant tasted like my mom made it. That was a treat.

Great cheesteak! Great service. A little warm eating on the patio, but the subs are worth it! This is an Orlando landmark for years!

Great food. Ordered ahead and arrived 20 minutes later as quoted. When I arrived I waited another 10 minutes. Ordered only a Philly cheesesteak. Overall sandwich was good.

Good chilli cheese burgers, really good hot dogs and waffle fries, and a pretty good philly. Always hot and fresh with freshly made milk shakes.

Decades of History, But Not Quite the Same
This place has been part of the community for as long as I can remember, and I truly respect that it’s still family-owned. The staff is friendly, attentive, and clearly cares about their customers — service has always been a strong point here.
That said, the food just isn’t what it used to be. Back in the '80s, the subs were bigger, more flavorful, and a great value. Now, the portions are smaller, the taste is a bit underwhelming, and the prices are much higher, I get it it is 2015. I spent $35 on two subs and two orders of fried mushrooms — quite a jump for what you get.
Still rooting for this local spot, but I do hope they revisit what made them so great in the first place.

Food usually hits the spot but everything is made to order so you're always waiting regardless of how busy it is or not. That said, it always comes out piping hot! (Sometimes too hot or too cooked) Has retro indoor/outdoor vibes and parking is pretty easy and convenient. I recommend the chicken Philly.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
I really enjoyed my steak and cheese Philly — it was so good! I also tried their chicken nuggets, and they were tasty too. Friendly service, delicious food, and great vibes all around. I think I’ve found my new go-to spot whenever I’m in the area!
