PITA Mediterranean Street Food

After visiting with Grandma, the boys chose to go here for lunch. As we entered there is a kiosk to order. But there was a couple ordering so the cashier called us over and took our order at the counter. We got 2 Gyro bowls (One Chicken and one mixed) and a Chicken Gyro with fries. Both the boys liked what they got as did I. My the bowl was the mixed. The Chicken was very good but the beef was cut a little too thin for my liking. The beef seemed dry and crispy. The Garlic Pitas they served with the bowls were very tasty and fresh. The restaurant is very clean and the staff is very friendly and welcoming. We will be coming back to try the Gyro Fries.

It is a chain operation, thorough but institutionally fast good vibe. Good for a quick Mid-East contact but no authenticity felt.

Parking: On the Southside if shop, Parking is Restricted for Publix Only. The shops are all at an angle so it is difficult when driving in where exactly is the “front”. Restrictions are difficult to enforce. Also there appear to be apartments attached to the building. Be safe.

The food is delicious. However, I had cranky service. They insist that you order on a tablet even if you have questions about the selections. I ordered but got stuck because the tablet took me to “sides,” when I didn’t want sides, so I asked a fellow behind the counter for help. First, he didn’t understand the problem. Then he huffed out from behind the counter and came to the tablet, hit something, didn’t explain, and huffed off. I was then able to process my payment, but he had spoiled my appetite.

Just okay, the meat was dry and the rice was meh. I'd rather go down the street for better-tasting food.

I absolutely love this place, food is amazing, never any complaints. I walk in with a friend today at lunch time 12:27pm berated with questions am I picking up or placing, then when I said placing an order. The guy behind the counter then said it’s going to be about 5-10 minute wait and I said that’s fine. We proceeded to try and order and then he came at us with “we are getting Uber orders, and other tickets and won’t get to your order for 15-20 mins.” It’s almost like he wanted us to leave. It’s Friday at 12:30pm lunch time, hire more people and sacrifice your labor to serve customers. Horrible.

I love Mediterranean food, the food here did not taste good. Diffently not worth the price.

Pickup order, poor customer service. Overpriced food if not a buy 1 get 1 deal. I really didnt like the energy of the restaurant associates. 1 of them stared me down for some reason (light skin, long curly hair). Not the first time my family has had a bad experience with this associate/ the restaurant. Wont return because why spend your money somewhere where you aren’t wanted.

We enjoyed trying this place on Friday night. The food was delicious and I was impressed with how quickly it came out. It was very easy to order on the touchscreen as well. Gyro bowl and gyro with fries pictured below.

Been here twice and I won’t be back, the 1st time I get it it was near closing time around 8:45 and the staff wasn’t happy we walked in, what we wanted to order was available due to then having to clean the grill and it being so close to closing, so we got other things and it was good enough to try again. Went back last night at 7:45 and the staff still didn’t seem happy we were there, order everything we wanted, one noticed the cheesecake we got while waiting for the food to come hold MOLD on it, when brought to the staff he rolled his eyes and took and said grab another one no apology or nothing!! So between service and lack or care won’t be going here again.

Pleasant employees. Generous portion size of gyro meat but Super dry and not very flavorful. Spanakopita was yummy. Best of luck.

Honestly their food was amazing before and now they don’t even put tomato’s or even cilantro in my platter. Never had Mediterranean food and not have at least cilantro in my platter. Also these two guys in counter was rude. Will never again come back. Sucks because I really enjoyed their food before this.

Pro Tip: when people order together, their food should be served together. Making one dish at a time and then serving them individually with a 5 minute wait in between isn't the best idea.

Generous portions, food is great and prices are very reasonable!! The Greek fries are my favorite and absolutely delicious

Recently tried out the chicken shawarma and Greek fries with not a lot of hope since most restaurants consistently under deliver on shawarmas. I was impressed! Both were delicious. Ordered through Uber and the food was still hot and fresh upon delivery.
