We used to go here years ago to get their bangin’ fish sandwich, which was absolutely marvelous. But they discontinued that and they completely changed the vibe of the whole place, tearing down the big tree and remodeling the inside. It took all the charm out of it so we haven’t been back in a while, but we had a friend in from out of town and it was close to the hotel hewas at so we went there. My husband had a Philly cheesesteak sandwich he said was OK and the other guy said his was OK too, but I ordered a grilled cheese. Menusaid it had fired mozzarella on ( I thought that meant smoky mozzarella) with jalapeños and tomatoes on it. I asked for no jalapeños, but when it came, there was no tomatoes on it either. While I was looking for the tomato, I saw a patty type of thing in there which turned out to be a mozzarella patty. It was breaded and looked like it might’ve been deep-fried. Maybe they meant fried mozzarella on the menu, not fired? The sandwich was OK, but I would’ve really liked the tomato on it. When I brought it up to the waitress who was very good by the way, she said she would bring me some tomatoes and I said no thank you. There was no way I was gonna get a nice tomato in there in the middle of the cheese. Fries were good.

We never went inside, we sat on the back patio which was nice. They had bingo going on and it was fun! Our waitress was busy but very attentive. As for the food, we only ordered appetizers but they were good at a great price!

Good little spot, just off the river. Nice outdoor space for live music. Would like to see them have separate areas outside for smoking vs non-smoking guests.

I ordered a grilled shrimp salad. The portion was very small and the salad consisted if lettuce, tomatoes and carrots, boring! There were 4 grilled shrimp that were borderline raw. The house made balsamic vinaigrette was basically oil and vinegar. My companion was underwhelmed with his meal too. I do not recommend this restaurant for food but the view was nice.
