The restaurant offers a great view of the water, along with reasonably priced and quite good food, including the black & blue burger and turkey club. Visitors can enjoy a drink or two from the bar, take in the sunset, and watch the miniature cannon shot at sunset. The atmosphere is fun, with live music that can get loud. The service is generally good, with a fun bartender who serves drinks with a smile and tells jokes. A highlight is the Friday night all you can eat Mahi fish fry, which many consider the best fish they had. The bar also offers a jalapeno margarita, made to perfection. Parking is behind the Bluegreen Hammocks resort, requiring a short walk. Overall, Barnacle Barney's provides a relaxed and enjoyable environment for eating, drinking, and listening to music. The staff are nice, and the environment is positive and lively. They have multiple options of foods to choose from. The ceased salad and a basket of fries are good, the seasoning on the fries is so amazing and delicious, flavor and yummy. Entrees are superb. Price is low compared to other contemporaries. The drinks were cheap and strong.
