Scallops with pesto risotto was excellent. The key lime pie was the best I've had. Nara our server was fantastic.

Butterfly Cafe is truly the gem of Marathon Key. There is NO OTHER Restaurant that is truly Fine Dining. We have been visiting the keys for 50 years. There are many that claim to be but this is Fine Dining compared to any other fine dining in any other city. Many in Marathon are fine dining for Marathon standards. The food is excellent. The service is impeccable. The cocktails are superb as well as the wines. The ambience is truly magical. We thank Jose, the manager, for doing such an amazing job and keeping us coming back. A MUST TRY.

Beautiful Keysie atmosphere. Attentive, nice ambience. Will go again... and again. Loved it!

Service was amazing as always, Jose Luis was very attentive with all of our needs and the menu recommendations were spot on for my wife's allergies. 10/10 !

I've never been more abused in a restaurant in my entire life, the manager was nasty and mean , wanted to force us to pay after we said we didn't want the food . Food has gone down hill at this place and the service is worse.

We were very disappointed in the quality of meat they use for menu items. The manager did apologize. My husband was given filet mignon as an option to replace his order. It was served bathed in sauce. My fish was just ok. Dessert was a frozen piece of key lime pie. The waitress is an asset to the restaurant. She apologized and tried to do her best to improve our meal. So we were extremely disappointed with Tranquility Bay's restaurant. The restaurant is a little on the pricey side so as a diner my expectations were raised for this dining experience. If you are planning to stay at this resort my suggestion is to do your homework before you arrive hungry. Research the nearby restaurants before you get to Tranquility Bay.

Cozy restaurant with attentive service and solid flavors: beet salad, crab cakes, seafood pasta, scallop risotto and the desserts were tasteful.

Our butterfly cafe experience was very disappointing. Our server was nice, but unfortunately not attentive. We saw the supervisor more than our waitress. The prices are extremely high and the wait times for food are long even with no one in the restaurant. We were there for 1.5 hours for a caprese salad, pizza, and two steaks. My meal was brought out before everyone else, so I was done eating my dinner before the rest of the table even got their food. It was about 30 minutes later when everyone else got to eat. We ordered a steak medium and it was brought out extremely well done. They did comp one steak which we are grateful for but overall our experience was not it for the $150 we spent.

Amazing food and customer services, the location and view makes it a great place for anniversary or birthday dinner

Can't miss restaurant if in the area. One of my favorite restaurants anywhere. Small and quiet so just know that going in.

Poor greeting from host as we have a reservation and they were not busy. Food lacked on flavor and amount of seafood in a seafood pasta by the beach, one scallops and 2 shrimps in the entire plate for $40 plus, was a joke. We had to ask for refills and restrooms were dirty. Poor experience overall.

Excellent meal and experience all around. Its a little pricey, but the food was fantastic.

Bugs outside were very disturbing for us who wanted to sit outside. There should be nets or something that prevents them from disturbing us and getting on our food and drinks

The Butterfly Cafe is a very nice restaurant. The service was very good, the waiter very pleasant. The food was really good. I had filet mignon and my guest had Chicken Alfredo. We also had a bottle of wine . The restaurant is expensive but any restaurant in Marathon that is good is expensive. Definitely will go back,

The hostess greeted us warmly, the service by Jasmine was perfect and the food was excellent. The only problem was upon entering the restaurant there was a table of seven people in the middle of the room who were obviously drinking heavily. They were laughing and being so loud that everybody in the restaurant was turning around and looking at the table. It made it hard for you to have a conversation at your own table. I understand this is a resort hotel and people are on vacation but they had two rounds of drinks before they even ordered their meal. It would have been appropriate for the manager of the restaurant to speak with them. It was making all of the other diners uncomfortable and in a fine dining restaurant this is inappropriate.
