Walked to LA Nina for breakfast as it came highly recommended from some locals and it did NOT disappoint! The Cuban coffee and breakfast sandwich were perfect. The place was hopping but the staff were attentive and food was great. We'll be back this trip for lunch.
This restaurant was recommended to us by the locals. The inside space is no larger than a family room, but there is picnic table seating outside under cooling fans too. Although this place does not have a lot of indoor eating space, it certainly packs a punch with the food! I had the Cuban sandwich and my husband had pork, rice and beans. We really liked the Cuban food and patrons can order in Spanish or English. The prices were good and enough left over for take out the next...
Funny how it's the busy places by workers that really give you satisfaction with food and drinks often! Such was our experience with La Nina. It was recommended by the Fairfield Inn's employee and it turned out to be just perfect for Cuban coffee, which was served promptly and in good quantity. We enjoyed it and likely will visit again when in Marathon and probably have the food also.
