Lazy Days South Reviews
First off, let me say the food was amazing, but the service was absolutely the WORST. Don't know the server's name, but he had a beard. My menu had the wrong pages in it and missing pages. So I pointed it out to him and he acted like I was stupid and let me show you the menu. Then finally realized I was correct, and got me a new one. Then I ask for tea with lime. My husband and I visited Lazy Day Marathon on October 3,2024. I ordered a ribeye steak and he ordered the broiled seafood platter. My steak was terrible. The lobster was the only thing good on the seafood platter. The waiter and atmosphere were great but we paid $160.00 for the food and drinks. Never again. Way over priced!!
Happy hour is not 4-6 as advertised. It's 3-5.

Lazy Days South is a relaxed restaurant with a laid-back vibe, offering a pleasant outdoor seating area with a light breeze. The bar serves a variety of cocktails, including Pina Coladas and Key Lime Coladas. The food is a highlight, with dishes like whole fried yellowtail, Key West Chicken, and Lazy Day-style prepared fresh caught grouper impressing diners. The chef is praised for their skills, and the service is top-notch. With generous portion sizes and a great view, Lazy Days South is a great spot for a leisurely meal or happy hour with friends.
Customers have enjoyed the outdoor dining, the ability to have their catch cooked, and the various preparation options for the fish. The Lazy Days way of preparing the fish, with panko fried fish, diced tomatoes, green onions, and a cream sauce drizzle, has been particularly praised. The gator appetizer and tuna app have also been well-received. While the service was a bit slow during a busy Spring Break period, the overall experience has been excellent, and customers are eager to return and try more dishes.
