Davide Italian Cafe

My family had an amazing Friday night dinner at Davide and felt like we were part of a big family. Food is unbelievably good. Real Italian! Service was attentive and they had a singer. We will be back!

We love Davide Italian Cafe. My husband was raised in an Italian household, so he has a very discriminating palate. The food is authentic homemade Italian, the service is unrivaled, and the atmosphere is very quaint and charming. Make a reservation ahead and enjoy a delicious meal and a relaxing evening out.

Best Pizza in Town, The Fruto di Mare Pizza spectacular, the cannoli, the gnocchis, everything!!! The music, the service you feel like they are your family.

You MUST eat dinner here if you find yourself anywhere near Marco Island! Take it from a Mangione, this is one of the best I’ve been to! I had the seafood pasta special and it was exceptional! We came here about two years ago and it was equally wonderful experience. You MUST make reservations, a day or two ahead if you can. The in house opera singer who does a set on busy nights sounds like Andrea Bocelli or Luciano Pavarotti, it’s heavenly. 🫶🏽

The food was great! Even though every table was full of conversation and fun, the place wasn't too loud. The manager was very extroverted and kind. But the best part of the evening was when the singer (who is there on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays) came over to my daughter in her wheelchair and strongly encouraged her to join in on Flowers by Miley Cyrus - by the end of the song the whole restaurant was singing and clapping along, including the kitchen staff. It was the high point of our trip to Marco. If there were more than five stars available for atmosphere, Davide would get them.

The food is great, but even if it weren't, this place would be worth it for the fun alone. Not what I expected to find in a strip mall. We will be back here whenever we are on the island.

My current favorite pizza on Marco. So good, every time.

Vegetarian options: The pizza sauce, crust, and cheese are all delicious. Top however you want.

I have not otherwise explored the menu.

Delizioso!!! So yummy! Had the Lassgna Bolognese and enjoyed it!

Great dinner! A recommendation i got from Julio at the residents beach! Julio knows! Ask Julio about italian food in the island! We had a caprese salad! I had veal marsala, my wife had the white vongole and we ended up with a tiramisu! All great! For sure we will be back!!!! Loved it! And we had a Sangiovese/Syrah from Sasyr! Perfect pairing!

Davide-No, sorry I do not agree with the reviews of this place. We arrived off season and we're made to feel guilty by the host for not having a reservation. Forced to sit way in the back by the restroom with an empty restaurant. Ordered wine, a nice Chianti, and it was hot. Who likes hot wine? Then the sautéed calamari came for an appetizer. So, tough and rubbery I cold not chew and sent away. Fortunately it was removed from the bill. Salad next, whas right out of a grocery store mixed green bin with a heavy balsamic vinagar. Next to the mains, Eggplant for the Mrs and mushroom pasta for me. My brown sauce was so heavy and think it stuck to the plate. She felt like the eggplant was made weeks ago and the red sauce bland.

The owner outside smoking a cigarette instead of caring about the quality of his food. Enough said.

Five stars always well deserved. After nine years I returned to Florida and when traveling around Marco Island I couldn't help but stop for dinner at Davide Italian cafe. A true Italian restaurant in Florida, with a menu enviable even by Italian restaurants in Italy and products that come directly from Italy. Staff in the room very friendly and helpful. The owner Davide, always present and full of irony and kindness and is always ready to joke with all customers. I again ate an excellent gluten-free pizza, a delicious appetizer with truly exceptional buffalo mozzarella.

davide’s is the best, most authentic italian restaurant on marco island!! if i could give 10 stars, i would. davide, the owner, and the staff are so welcoming and friendly and made us feel so at home. he is from sicily and let me tell you, it shows!! the food was amazing and the cannolis were the absolute best we have ever had. we went all over to multiple italian restaurants and NOTHING compared to davide’s! this is a MUST TRY. if that doesn’t convince you, we went back 4 times in 5 days! i can’t recommend it enough. i would fly back to marco island just for a cannoli from davides!
