“We greatly enjoyed our dinner at The Deck. However, the star of our whole trip was Tricia serving the drinks on the beach. She is so sweet and fun, and makes the absolute cocktails my wife and I have had. The convenience of being able to get drinks at your beach chair is such a treat (and them tasting so good) will definitely having us coming back. Tricia is the best and helped make our trip that much better.”

“If you haven’t been to this restaurant you need to go. I would describe this restaurant as an eclectic and industrial vibe with great ambiance. Our server Sam was phenomenal! He was very attentive, professional, respectful and charming. We went there on July 13th 2024. Our table had the burrata appetizer and the shrimp cocktail. They were plated beautifully and very delicious. I had the special of the day which was cobia over a bed of Parmesan risotto with a lemon beurre blanc sauce and Hericot Verts. I am not a fish fan but I wanted to try something different for a change and I was so happy I did. The fish had trout roe on top and it popped in your mouth and was fantastic. I finished everything on my plate. Sam sold me on it with his description and the chef provided a meal I will never forget. My dining partners had filet mignon, Lobster Madagascar and Schnitzel A’la Holstein. I tried them all and I loved each and everyone of those dishes. I wish I lived in Marco Island so I could go there often.”

“Had a fantastic meal at Joey’s on Marco Island with family and friends! 🌴🍝 We sat outside and the atmosphere was relaxed and beautiful—perfect for a Florida evening.
The food was absolutely delicious, the service was great, and the portions were generous for the price. One of the best touches is their signature garlic knots that come with many of the entrées and salads. They’re so good they deserve their own spotlight!
I ordered the meatball salad, which of course came with one of those amazing garlic knots. Everything was packed with flavor and really satisfying.
Funny side note—I actually took my garlic knot home with me. Later I made my own sauce and meatballs and used the garlic knot in my meatball recipe. The result? Some of the most delicious meatballs I’ve ever made! I’m officially modifying my Florida recipe to say: “Use Joey’s garlic knot.” 😄
If you’re on Marco Island and looking for great Italian food, I highly recommend Joey’s. Five-star restaurant all the way! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐”

You do need to be a member of MICA to go here which is also nice, keeps it from getting too crazy. Great option for breakfast as well.”

“I wish I took a picture of my dish. I’ve been using Mongolian beef as my judge for Chinese restaurants for decades. Easily eaten it thousands of times at hundreds of restaurants. The Mongolian Beef at KJ was in the top three I’ve ever had. That includes some very high end places in every big city. To find a gem like this in a corner on Marco Island was a wonderful discovery. I’ll be coming back every time I visit the island. The dish was spicy. I asked for as spicy as they make, nothing gets to me anymore, and this was right on the edge of the hottest food I’ve been served in any of the restaurants. The flavors were excellent and the ingredients were top notch.

We also had a few sushi rolls, all fantastic, and the krab rangoons were the best I’ve had in years. You can tell they really care, I made a mistake reading the menu and they fixed it up right away. (On that note order the big giant roll without deep fry and it’s amazing, I just don’t like hot rolls).

I think the owner was the one who took care of that for me and I meant to thank him in person and let him know how amazing that Mongolian beef was, but I didn’t get a chance. Hope you read this review! I can’t wait to be back!”

“On a recent visit to Marco Island—one of many day trips to this Gulf Coast enclave—our group of close friends concluded a boating excursion with dinner at Veridi’s American Bistro. It was our first visit, and if the evening is any indication, it will not be our last. Arrival & Atmosphere Parking remains the restaurant’s most notable logistical challenge. The lot is exceedingly small, and despite holding a confirmed reservation, we were seated approximately 10–15 minutes late. Yet once inside, any initial inconvenience quickly faded. The dining room exudes warmth and intimacy: softly lit, tastefully appointed, and thoughtfully arranged. Remarkably, even at peak occupancy, the noise level remains restrained—an increasingly rare virtue and particularly welcome when dining with a larger party. Service & Beverage Program Service was attentive and gracious throughout the evening. Our servers demonstrated professionalism and warmth, though at times they were slightly difficult to understand. The wine selection proved excellent—well-curated and versatile enough to satisfy varied preferences. However, guests should note that the beverage program is limited to wine and beer; those seeking pre-dinner cocktails will need to plan accordingly. Cuisine The kitchen is where Verdi’s distinguishes itself. We began with the Wiki Wiki Shrimp and house meatballs—both exemplary. The shrimp delivered lively flavor and balance, while the meatballs offered depth and comfort without heaviness. Entrées across the table were uniformly praised, an uncommon consensus in a group setting. My selection, the duck, merits special recognition: expertly prepared and finished in a raspberry–hoisin sauce, accompanied by jasmine rice. The dish achieved a refined balance of richness, acidity, and subtle sweetness, and stands comfortably among the three finest duck preparations I have encountered. Desserts provided a fitting finale, each plate executed with the same care and precision evident throughout the meal. Verdict While minor drawbacks exist—tight parking, slight reservation delays, and the absence of spirits—the culinary execution and inviting ambiance more than compensate. Verdi’s American Bistro delivers thoughtfully prepared cuisine in an environment conducive to conversation and convivial dining. Highly recommended.”

“Went to Cav’s to meet friends and was pleasantly surprised with the service received at the bar. Yashika and Evan were a dynamic duo! Friendly, smiling faces, helped ease our frustrations after waiting nearly an hour for 2 orders of wings. Despite the kitchen taking an eternity, the wings did not come out great but it was nice having these bartenders take genuine care of us! This was my first experience at Cav’s and will definitely be back just for them! If you want to spend time having great conversations, tasty cocktails and fantastic service go see Evan and Yashika!”

“I first discovered Cold Stone Creamery back in 1988 in Tempe… my very first year at Arizona State University. 🍦✨

Back then, it wasn’t just ice cream… it was an experience. The texture, the freshness, the way it melted… every bite felt like it was made just for you.

Fast forward to today, and I still pop in every now and then. So when I came across one in Marco Island, I was excited for that full-circle moment. Ordered the Founder’s Favorite… my husband did too… total throwback order.

But here’s the thing… it just didn’t hit the same.

Maybe it’s grown. Maybe it’s more corporate now. But instead of that rich, fresh, melt-in-your-mouth magic, it felt a little more… commercial. Almost like it lost a bit of its soul along the way.

And maybe that’s the real story…
Sometimes you’re not just tasting ice cream… you’re tasting a memory. 💫

This place is an arcade with a bar and mini golf. It was perfect for us as we ordered dinner and then my kids could play games and be entertained while we waited for the food.”

The cocktails were very good, and we got happy hour prices. both of our entrees were so good grouper oscar and hogfish lagoon. Michael was our server, and everything was just delightful. “We didn't have a great experience here. From the street this place looks nice and inviting as it does inside as well. The parking is tight and you are directed to exit on the north side of the building. We went on a cold night so the big doors were closed trapping in all the noise
There were some very loud people at the bar and next to us. We weren't able to hold a conversation. Maybe on a night where people can be outside would soften the noise. We were able to get a table at 6:30 on a Sunday night. While service was good we didn't care for the food. Lack of sauce on enchiladas. Nachos covered in lettuce and very bland tasting. Chicken quesadillas were ok. I didn't care for the black beans and rice that came with it. Nice staff.”
