“We had breakfast at Maia several times during our stay, and each time, both the food and service were great. However, what impressed us most was what happened after one of our breakfasts.

My daughter realized that she had accidentally left behind a collection of shells that were very special to her. She was absolutely heartbroken and inconsolable, so we went back to Maia hoping we might be able to find them. Unfortunately, the shells were nowhere to be found.

Later that day, the Maia staff sent a special surprise up to our room for her. They had put together some impressive shells, a gift card, a stuffed dolphin, chocolate dessert shells, and a sweet handwritten note with cute drawings of shells. It was an incredibly thoughtful gesture that turned a very upsetting moment for our daughter into a wonderful memory.

This is exactly what exceptional customer service and hospitality should look like. The staff went far beyond what anyone would expect, and their kindness and thoughtfulness meant so much to our family. We were incredibly impressed with Maia and its wonderful staff and would absolutely recommend them.“
