Spent almost $400 for five people. The food was very average and unfortunately the server was a bit annoying and kept trying to pad the bill. I've never seen thin swordfish. They are always thick. Plus, there was a gloppy risotto underneath the fish that was not very tasty.

Had Rez for Saturday and wasn’t busy. Seated on Patio. Three of us at a 6 top. Ordered Frito Misto app. Zero shrimp it was basically calamari with a few green beans. I ordered the Swordfish Picata which I’ve ordered many times. It was pretty weak. The crust on the swordfish was soggy. The pasta was loaded with large slices of almost raw garlic and one tiny morsel of crab. There was almost zero sauce. There was however a huge portion of al dente veggies which took up most of the plate. This dish has gone downhill substantially. My wife ordered it was well and hers was the same. It looks like they are cutting corners.

First off, the food is absolutely amazing! I’m giving this 4 stars solely based on the host/hostess interaction at the very beginning (I’d give it 4.5 if I could, but I just can’t give it perfect 5 stars right now). They were not friendly at all, quite rude actually. This may be due the management’s reservation rules/policy and the host station is constantly dealing with people without reservations. Most restaurants will seat you in the restaurant without a reservation, it’s not out of the norm. Their reservation/seating system is flawed, if you don’t have a reservation you have to sit in the bar area, even if there’s dining seats available, no waiting for a table apparently. There were plenty of tables on the patio and inside available, but you had to have a reservation to sit at them. While we sat in the bar area, majority of these tables remained open the whole time we ate. Overall dining experience was very good though! The waiter we had was prompt and informative. Had very good recommendations. The food is by far some of the best food in Marco Island. Don’t let the strip mall appearance lead you away. I know it may sound somewhat petty that I gave it 4 stars due to a non food issue, but I just want people to read this and know they’ll need a reservation to experience a full dining room experience. I’m more than happy to change it to 5 stars if they change the reservation rules. For now, I highly recommend this place for food. It’s a must go!

Unsuspecting fish gods looking over this place. Strip mall fish restaurant, but let me tell you, upscale night with top notch fish.

Fin Bistro recently hosted the MIYC Twilight Golf dinner. The tables were attractively arranged in the Veranda for our group of 32 and the staff was very friendly and helpful. Upon our arrival, drinks and dinners were taken without delay. There was not an additional charge for the large group and the restaurant afforded us separate checks. We enjoyed our dinner in a relaxing dining atmosphere.
