Went there tonight. Waited at the hostess stand for quite awhile. When she came she said to sit anywhere along the right side odmf the entrance doors. We went sit at one of the three booths and 2 were dirty from the previous guests. I stood there and told her that it needed to be cleaned. She threw the menues on the table and told us, well you are just going to have to wait and walked away. Ery rude, we walked out no we didn't need her unacceptable bad attitude. And yes ,we live here and understand sometimes they are short handed. Her attitude was very unacceptable.

Only 1 real "J" on the Island. Very well run, clean, lots of space with good service flow. The pizza is consistent and "as of today" is almostthe best on the Island.

No hostess so you just stand around waiting. Dirty place! I had to wipe the crumbs off of the seat. Waitress needs a lesson in customer service. Wrong topping on the pizza and she had the nerve to argue with me saying that’s what I ordered when she never even wrote our order down. Btw the worst pizza I’ve ever had! Too much sauce for how thin the dough was so it was like pizza soup and tasteless as well. Never again!

Had a lovely afternoon taking my family on a dolphin boat tour through Florida Adventures, which I highly recommend. Stopped at Joey D’s for a pizza meal at 4:45. We were early with only two other tables in the restaurant. Sat at our table for over an hour and watched the restaurant fill up. People coming and going with pick up orders also. After sitting for an hour we asked about our pizzas, they said they were too busy to make them but would make them soon and if we didn’t want to wait we could just leave . We were shocked for being treated so poorly. My family and I left without ever having dinner. As we left several other tables with the same nauseous experience also walked out. Will never step foot in this low class restaurant with poor service and a manager that has no idea how to run the business let alone communicate to customers. Whoever the owner is shame on you, better sell while it still has 4 stars cause that won’t last.

Disrespectful management and downright rude. My family came in this evening for pizza and wound up waiting an hour and a half for our food. When we asked the manager how much long he told us they were busy and that we could leave. So that’s what we did! Funny thing is that when we walked out 3 other tables that had been waiting a long time did the same. Not sure how they stay is business treating people so poorly.By the way the restaurant is dirty.

I can not comment on the food because it never came. After 1.5 hours they did not start my order for a pizza. When I asked the manager he said they were busy and I can leave if I didn't like it. Half the resturant followed me with similar experience. Terrible experience.

Joey D's has amazing pizza! Ordered a pizza on Super Bowl Sunday and picked it up. Pizza was ready on time and everyone working there were great. The pizza itself was fantastic! Will definitely be ordering more pizza from Joey D's.
Outstanding Italian food! Steven is a fabulous waiter. If only they took reservations! Philly cheese steak is fabulous.

We only got served because i flagged Down a guy who is supposed to be the bartender it is now stuck also serving tables. No owner or manager here to help. Shame on the owners for allowing the worst service ever!!! What a disgrace!

We have always loved Joey D's. Great food at good prices. But over the past year we've noticed some trouble brewing. The food is still very good, some items have shrunk, but the prices are still fair. The #1 issue, which effects all other aspects of this establishment is that they are severely under staffed. Our waitress was very stressed. We really felt bad for her. She was running non-stop. The bathrooms needed attention, wait times were long, and there was no one to help. I never saw a manager or any person in charge of the dinning area. I hate to say it but, this looks like the beginning of a slow trek off a cliff. ?
