Marco Prime Steak & Seafood Restaurant

Best steakhouse on marco island. Good vibe and food.

We visited Marco Prime on the Friday night of Father’s Day weekend. We’ve dined here a few times before mostly because it’s conveniently located right across from the hotel we usually stay at. That evening wasn’t too busy, and we were seated outside. The service was solid our waiter was attentive and professional, though I don’t recall his name.

Unfortunately, the food didn’t live up to expectations this time.

The highlight of the meal was the soups particularly the lobster bisque I ordered. It was flavorful, well-prepared, and clearly the best dish of the night. However, the rest of the meal was disappointing.

The octopus appetizer was a letdown — chewy, likely frozen, and not fresh. The portion was also quite small for the price. My wife ordered the Australian New York steak, which lacked flavor and she didn’t enjoy it at all. I had the regular New York strip, which was better in comparison, but still underwhelming in flavor.

As for the sides, the mashed potatoes were the biggest disappointment — they tasted like instant mash, not fresh, and we barely touched them. One of my sons ordered the mac & cheese and immediately said it was too salty. We asked to switch it out for the sliders, which turned out to be much better.

Overall, this restaurant used to be one of our go-to spots, but the food quality seems to have declined noticeably. It’s in a prime location, which might be why the consistency and quality aren’t prioritized tourists will keep coming regardless. Hopefully, they can get things back on track because the potential is there.

Amazing

We came back as we had such good memories about our last visit - and all was perfect again. Especially Lio our waiter made our family night out very special. Not really pricey - but food and service are excellent indeed

A very short walk across from the Hilton. There was no wait and our server was excellent. I ordered the 8oz filet mignon and my hubby ordered the grouper. Both were very good. What was also good was the oh so cheesy, creamy mac and cheese with short rib pieces. Wow! We also had the truffle fries, sweet potato and the creamy spinach. All the sides we had were enough for at least 2 people to share. It was a great evening and we felt welcomed from the time we asked for a table for two. This is a great spot for a date night or a celebratory night with friends.

Very good, the octopus and squid was cooked to perfection. Loved our waitress. Pricey.

Great steaks

Not as good as years past, service was average, wedge salad was great, sirloin strip was good, octopus we sent back had a spoiled taste, spinach and mushrooms no taste, tenderloin tips were over cooked and tasted like liver.

We go to Marco Prime a lot. Always a wonderful experience. Service is great food is tasty. The restaurant is very nice. If you're looking for a good steak dinner that's the place to go.

Regrettable experience. Noted my son's peanut and sesame allergies. No one was over informed which is fine but when asked to speak to the manager and to see the box of pasta it seemed like we were inconveniencing them. We were given a full scare with how laxed they were and the feeling of being a “pain to them” when I just wanted to speak to a manager and see the ingredients on the box of pasta for my five year old. Our appetizer contained sesame which my son is allergic to and no one bothered to care. My husband and I were with our 5 and 3 year old-a simple dinner took over 2 hours. There were small bugs flying everywhere and constantly landing in our faces and food. Food wasn't terrible but wasn't great. We will most definitely not be returning there.

We were supposed be seated inside at a booth; instead, there was a group walking to a different table who didn't like their table so the person in front of us put them at our table and we had to take the worst table in the restaurant. The 8 oz filets are really small; more like 6.5-7 oz. When I showed the waitress; she askif we wanted to weigh it. I guess I should have brought my scale. Dont try to fool someone wjo has eaten in over 100 steakhouses. Shameful. Please change your restaurant name to Marco Mini Prime!!!

A must visit if you're in Marco Island.

Best food we had on Marco ! We had steak and seafood - both of which were fantastic. Cocktail menu was good with a large wine offering. Service was attentive and restaurant had a great ambiance.

Danielle was AMAZING! Best service my husband and I have ever received at this place. Very knowledgeable about food options and wine. We always know the food is unbelievably good but her service made it top tier!
