We visited Marco Island for the day and checked out this restaurant based on recommendations by locals. The restaurant was packed and we waited an hour and 15 minutes for a table, in the meantime you can enjoy the live band and order drinks at the bar.
The food was decent, nothing too crazy. Our favorites were the crab cakes and the lobster.
The restaurant is by the water, with floor to ceiling windows and although it was dark when we visited I’m sure the view is nice during the day.

Was quoted 30-45 minutes..waited an hour before asking about how much longer. Told me maybe another 45 minutes. Ridiculous.

One of my laidback favorites places to go too thats right on the water! Good spot to stop by after a day out in the ocean or just want to stop by for a drink! Very causal with full bar and amazing food choices!

My husband and I were in Marco Island for a vacation, and someone suggested Snook Inn. We figured we would give it a shot. gave up after about 10-15 minutes of waiting, watching others who were sat after us being served, numerous workers walking right by without even acknowledging us. Definitely would not recommend.
We went for happy hour but there was no room at the bar! We were told that we still could get happy hour prices but we had to walk up to the bar to order and then sit ourselves at a high top. We sat over by the gift shop by ourselves. I got the rum runner, which came in a oriental container with a fake bamboo straw. It was $9 @ happy hour, so I feel like it was worth it! I was shocked that they didn't have a happy hour food menu. As a lot of places normally do. Nonetheless, we got dinner elsewhere because it was too packed!!

Great restaurant on the water that you can pull your boat up to. They have both indoor and outdoor seating overlooking the water. They have a pretty diverse menu and all of the food was super tasty. Staff was friendly and attentive. Would definitely go back.

Ordered calamari as an appetizer and it was cooked well, but was very bland with no seasoning. For my entree I ordered the Snook Inn platter and again pretty flavorless dish. I like all the seafood options, but need proper seasoning. My husband ordered the endless crab legs, in which he ordered 3 rounds. First batch were fine, second and third were salty.

Wonderful food! Great atmosphere!
Bugs everywhere, including my lemon for my tea. So many staff standing around talking, yet we can’t get refills on time. We were there around 4:45 on a Monday, we did not get out of there until almost 7:00. They brought the kid’s fish and chips and then 25 minutes later we asked about our food and they said, 2 more minutes. It was stuffy, sticky, and hot outside where we were sitting. The place was crowded, they had large fans but didn’t turn them on right away. Drunks around the bar, food was okay, definitely not worth the hassle and trouble. I had the surf and turf, the lobster was amazing, the steak was bland (Medium Rare) and un seasoned. The sides were okay. So loud between the over crowded seating and live music, next to impossible to have a conversation. Definitely would not recommend or return.
Snook - is One of a kind! Marco's spirit at its best! must visit eatery at the island. Salad bar having great options! and oh my, all food is great but I got addicted to their ceviche. Keep drolling even now 🫠
Love the Snook Inn
