We’ve always enjoyed Stonewalls in the past, but this visit was off. It took over half the meal to receive a coffee drink that was ordered, and it was only made after we asked about it.
The bigger issue, though, was the way we were handled at the end of the meal. As we finished breakfast, one member of our party went to the bathroom. We were fully planning to leave as soon as he returned and understood they were getting a line and needed tables. While he was in the bathroom, a staff member came up and told us that if we weren’t ordering anything else, we needed to get up.
We weren’t lingering 20+ minutes after finishing or anything like that—it just felt rushed and unwelcoming. Unfortunately, the overall experience and vibe didn’t encourage us to want to come back this time.

This isn’t your traditional sit down and order restaurant, but that didn’t take away from the experience. The food was delicious and the prices were fair for the location. If you’re in Marco island and looking for a solid breakfast choice, make it to Stonewalls.

Breakfast is great we tried waffles, huevos a la mexicana, smoked salmón and everything was very good. Attention is incredible!!!
There were 10 of us that called in a takeout order for dinner - after a long day of travel we weren’t up for going out. Friendly service, accurate order, good packaging and great food. Standout dishes were blackened tacos and meatloaf.

Service was top notch, very attentive and gave us some local tips/info that was very helpful. Chix-potpie was delicious, wife had a taco salad. Both generous portions. Can't wait to try breakfast next time we visit😋

We had several meals here this week as it was a very convenient walk from our hotel. The people are very nice. The food was a bit inconsistent with the breakfast items generally all great, but the 3-egg omelette was pretty small for what I expected. The lunch Cuban sandwich was pretty dry so I had to add some condiments to make it more enjoyable and they toasted it, when I expected it to be a normal sandwich. (Maybe it said that and I missed it?). Anyway, you should definitely come here and enjoy the nice people and indoor or outdoor seating. They also have beer, wine and drinks!! VictorB
