Tesoro is an exclusive restaurant situated in the Marriott Hotel on the 5th floor. It was heavenly sitting outside on the patio and watching the sunset over the Gulf of America. It was the perfect night with the light breeze. Sherri, our very sweet waitress delivered excellent service. We were two couples totally enjoying the food, drinks and ambiance. We indulged in an octopus appetizer to start. We love octopus, but this was made in some sort of tomato sauce and delicious spices. It was a beautiful dish. Three of us ordered the salmon dinner which was made to perfection. Paul had the Chilean Seabass and he also enjoyed it. We did not have room for dessert, but we were allowed to sit there for as long as we wanted to. It was such a lovely evening. Just so you know, the hotel has a very large group here, but the patio was not overly crowded and as I said before, just a dream to sit here. They also had seating around a fire pit if you wanted to have drinks in that section. There is also an inside bar and seating with sporting programs on the televisions above.
The view was phenomenal. The weight staff was excellent the food however, was disappointing. The appetizers were definitely better but not spectacular.
We enjoyed our dinner at Tesoro. Service was a bit slow and server was not particularly friendly, but it was adequate. The food was good.
Very poor service, especially for a resort restaurant. Our order was lost and we waited for over an hour before someone checked on us and explained the situation. The food was comped which was nice but we went largely unattended for an hour. Additionally, we had reserved a table outside but was told due to rain the outdoor seating was closed. They then sat us at a high top at the bar instead of a normal table. Very upsetting for us to be celebrating our baby moon. Over the food was good but the service made this a place I will not return to.
Sadly, we did not have a great experience- food was terrible (lots of oil and garlic) and the service was beginner level! The restaurant had also been informed of a birthday and beyond the host stand there was zero acknowledgment. The restaurant does have an amazing view!
The entire experience was wonderful. Looking out over the beach and ocean, light breeze to keep you cool, excellent service and good food.
The restaurant overlooked the golf of America . We had an opportunity to have dinner just as the sun was setting, which made it very, very nice. I would recommend us restaurant, highly, for the food and the view.
I sat for a drink and lunch, with no idea what to get, Paula kindly recommended the best options. I am beyond pleased with her service, it was truly exceptional.

They were out of draft beer because the system was down at the bar. However when my husband ordered another beer with dinner it was draft beer. When someone finally came to the table he ordered chicken Marsala. The chicken was overcooked, dry, no sauce, maybe two mushrooms - terrible. It came with absolutely nothing else on the plate. One dry overcooked piece of chicken. I had the beet and arugula salad. It was drowning in dressing. The table was nice we could see the sunset but I would not go back or recommend to anyone. Overpriced for the quality of food.
Had the perfect table with the perfect server and a perfect dinner with a picture perfect sunset! Will definitely be back!

Everything about this meal experience was excellent. We had David as a waiter. He was so friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. We had a delicious meal. I had the fettuccini. Spaghetti and meatballs was a choice from another diner and was very good. All were large portions. So yummy. He took a picture for us, upon request, of all of us and the beautiful sunset. Would highly recommend.
Great atmosphere. View could be better if not for the vegetation wall between the restaurant windows and the Gulf of America but totally understand due to the pool being in between. The food was expertly prepared and we never felt rushed to get out to seat another table. The waitstaff was very attentive too.
We were very disappointed with our meal. We made reservations. It was raining so we sat inside at the bar area. After taking our order, the bartender never came back to check in us, ask us if we wanted more drinks or even how everything was. The food was OK. It was nothing special. I ordered a steak, medium rare. It came back medium well. My wife got the fettuccine Alfredo. She could have gotten the same thing at Olive Garden. For the price we paid the food was not spectacular. It was just OK. The service was subpar. We were very disappointed.
The food was fantastic, and the service was outstanding. We had some cocktails. I ordered the Amalfi spritz, and my husband ordered the Tesoro. Both were very good, but I loved his drink. We were celebrating our wedding anniversary. The food was also excellent. The sunset view from there is perfect. We were celebrating our wedding anniversary, and they brought a complimentary dessert, which we chose to be the tiramisu. The dessert was average, and I almost missed the congratulations on our dessert. They can do better. In general, we had a fantastic time, and I recommend it, especially during sunset.
