We were seated virtually in the waiter station. Very unsettling to have the noise right behind your back. The food and service were both excellent but our overall experience was disappointing
Only 3 stars on ambiance. We were seated in a room where 3 tables were standing up and mingling before dinner. It was very awkward. They should have had their own room / private space. Everything else was great.
We were two couples having dinner on the outside patio while on vacation on Marco Island. We are staying at the Marriott Hotel only .5 mile down the road. The night is beautiful and so is the ambience here on the patio. Jeffrey is our wonderful waiter who attended to all our needs. The bread board is gratis which offers corn bread and crusty rolls. We all ordered fresh fish entrees which were generous portions I had the red snapper and separately ordered two sides - the roasted potatoes and broccolini. These are meant to be shared. Paul enjoyed his scallops over a black spaghetti. It had a heavy sauce on it. We did have a luscious key lime pie dessert which actually was in the shape of a cup. The cappuccino was delicious. The Oyster Society is a top restaurant in the area and remains so because of their quality food, service and ambience.
From the hostess to the waiter, the staff was excellent. I had the She-crab bisque - delicious! Husband enjoyed oysters. Lovely ambience as well.
Oyster Society is a top notch restaurant. High quality food, service and wine list. Never pass it up. Get there early to get a table - especially in season.
Our meal was very good - the service was also very good Food quality is top notch HIGHLY recommend
The server, atmosphere, and menu were all amazing! One of our go-to restaurants when we are visiting Marco Island.
Such a great experience at Oyster Society! Fresh seafood, amazing cocktails and the service was great. Highly recommend this spot and ask for Milos! He is fantastic
We started with lobster bisque crab soup oyster trio seafood tacos all excellent i wouldn't recommend the lobster monte cristo small portion hardly and lobster Finished with expresso and key lime tart both very good next time I would order the seafood tower
Oyster Society really knows how to serve up happiness on a plate! The food? Absolutely outstanding—I'm pretty sure the oysters are legally classified as addictive substances. The service was sharper than a shucker's knife—fast, friendly, and somehow they knew when I needed another drink before I did. Now, about the environment...let's just say it was lively. If you're looking for quiet meditation, try a library. If you want incredible food paired with a soundtrack of everyone else having the time of their lives, this is your spot. By the end of the night, I was shouting my compliments to the chef like I was at a rock concert—but hey, worth it. In short: Oyster Society is loud, proud, and totally delicious. Bring your appetite and maybe some vocal cords of steel. Would I come back? Absolutely—just maybe after warming up my voice first. 🎤🦪

Halibut special was dry. Spinach appeared to have been cooking for several hours...way overcooked, skimpy portion which turned out to be a good thing. I left most of it. Baby redskins ok but highly seasoned. Monte Cristo appetizer was excellent. Service was attentive and friendly.
Trio was ok (2 fish fillets and shrimp), not much flavor. Also, too expensive. Salmon, also not so good.
Yesterday, I had an unforgettable evening with my husband at a simply wonderful restaurant. The atmosphere was welcoming, the food was delicious, and every detail was thought out to make the moment special. But what really made the difference was Ruby, the waitress who welcomed us with such warmth, attention, and affection. She made a dinner for two an even more special experience. Gratitude for moments like these, which will stay with us forever. 💖🍷✨
Oyster Society as always has fantastic service and food. As always the noise is nearly unbearable. If you are looking for great food and service where you scream to those at your table Oyster Society is the place for you. I am being somewhat factitious, we have enjoyed many meals here in the past and will in the future, I just wish they would do something about the noise in the side room off main dining. We normally go as a couple so are stuck in the room with 10-12 other tables where it seems that everyone is trying to be louder than the table next to them.
We had a great experience at this restaurant. The service was amazing and the food was great. So glad we got our reservation to Oyster Society. Will definitely go back and go to their sister restaurants!
