We had a fabulous meal at Verdi's. From the wine suggestion to the sea bass and veal chop through the desert. It was pleasant from the moment we entered until we left with professional happy staff and a comfortable atmosphere.
Verdi's never disappoints. Service, food, ambience. Favorite restaurant on Marco Island!!
I ordered the rack of Lamb, 4 ribs, jt was cooked perfectly. It was served with a small scoop of mashed potatoes and 1 piece of asparagus. I left hungry.
This was our first experience at Verdi's and it was outstanding....from accommodating our large group, to our amazing server Lisa, to delicious food!!! We will definitely be returning to Verdi's!! Thanks for a great family dinner experience!
As always the food is excellent at Verdi's'.But was unhappy to not be able to have a Cappuccino because of their frothing machine being broken.Hope next time for dinner this will be justified.
James is wonderful :) Go in for the sea bass and the filet mignon.

My wife and I had an amazing meal and our favorite bottle of wine at Verdi's last night. Verdi's is an awesome place for a Date Night, Anniversary, or any special occasion. You won't be disappointed!
Wait staff great. Food a bit disappointing. Scallops were the smallest I've ever been served at any restaurant, and the 3 dollops of mashed sweet potatoes were tasty, but portion size minute! Another person ordered steak and lobster, and lobster was overcooked and dry. Grouper had more breading than fish.
The house salad is just OK, but the specialty salads are good. Don't get the meatloaf - you need a sharp knife to cut it. The duck is always delicious. The bananas foster is OK. The atmosphere is fairly noisy, even without a full dining room.
This wasn't our first visit to Verdi's but everything was so perfect I've decided to write another review. We sat with James, what a polite and friendly gentleman. He gave us time to review the menu, bring our drinks and enjoy our appetizers. The clam chowder was delicious, definitely a must try. The phyllo wrapped chicken breast huge portion and very tasty. The scallops perfectly seared, tender and served with a sweet potato purée just amazing. The rack of lamb perfectly cooked, with a delicious mint sauce and mashed potatoes. We finished the evening with the flourless chocolate torte, just heavenly and the bread pudding warm and delicious. We will definitely recommend and return. James, thank you :)

We came for my husbands 50th bday. We were surprised to see happy birthday on our table cloth. Lisa was our server and was wonderful! We had an amazing appetizer of scallops followed by the veal special And pistachio crusted grouper. Everything was absolutely delicious!
Verdi's Bistro is one of our favorite restaurants in Marco Island. The food is always great, the ambience and atmosphere just right, and Maria, our server, was excellent as always.
Amazing birthday celebration with family at this gem on Marco Island. Mushroom Crostini and Wiki Shrimp for appetizers. Dinner: Rack of Lamb Filet Scallops Beet salad Fettuccine with Vongole (clams) Fettuccine with Lobster Meatloaf Caesar Salad We opted to order several plates and then share so everyone could have a taste. Cannot forget the absolutely delicious artisan bread served warm with olive oil and balsamic dressing! Repeat!! Wonderful selection of wines and beer. Service was súperb by Maria! Love Verdis
We had four people in our party for dinner. We sat in a big booth, which was not an issue for me (5’1) but several in our party were over 6’2 and it was a squeeze- so pick a table if possible. The service was great. The food was all really good, we had clam chowder, lamb, veal. Verdi’s definitely had more locals than tourists- a good sign to us! The only drawback was the bread pudding which was dry for bread pudding and had large chunks of dried apricots and raisins in it, which is a bit unconventional- more like a fruitcake without the bourbon creme ( we will skip this next time),but there was a great chocolate cake - both had ala mode options. We would definitely eat here again and recommend it.

To describe the meal... Warm Rosemary bread to start- good. Disappointing already- made refrigerated salad. Excellent dinners (pork and lobster)and nice assortment of desserts. Ascetically, the interior can use an upgrade. Sixties feel to it, white ceiling tiles, black painted walls. There are a lot of restaurants on Marco, Verdi's needs to step it up to keep the reputation up.
