WOULD GIVE 0 IF I COULD. HORRIBLE MANAGEMENT!!!! So I order the same exact thing for me and my bf every time we eat here. So you would expect every single time it’s the same total. Today I was surprised to find out my order is now almost $10 dollars more than what it usually is. I asked for a receipt upon receiving my food because I was in such shock. After overlooking I realized the manager taking our order, tried to charge me not once but TWICE for an individual order of corn when all I asked for was extra corn on ONE tropichop . I came inside in confusion attempting to correct the situation and showing him that he charged me twice for corn I never received. He claims because I asked for extra corn that he is required to charge me. But he charged me TWICE so when I ask him why he charged me twice when I only asked for extra corn on ONE tropichop, he replied very rudely and his exact words were “no you didn’t you said you wanted extra corn on both” with a horrible attitude. Literally like a 5 year old arguing they are right. This situation honestly wasn’t even that serious I would’ve never made it as big of a problem or be writing this review, but the blatant disrespect from the immature manager and unwillingness to make a situation that he messed up on right or even just admit admitting he messed up, it all made me want nothing to do with this place. I will NEVER make the mistake of coming to this location again. And if you’re supposed to charge for extra toppings on a tropichop(which I never have been charged in the past), why can’t it be rung up as extra? Why was I charged for an individual serving? I feel four dollars is a bit much for an extra scoop of some corn geez . All that to say I went to chipotle instead and got 2 bowls AND a side AND extra steak for cheaper than what these people tried to charge me. Anyways here’s my receipt of my refund. The receipt says a woman’s name for the employee, but I’m pretty sure it was the same manager talking to me inside that took our order. She is not at fault, the manager is.

On December 18th at approximately 11:15 after leaving class, I decided to try the Pollo Tropical at this particular location. After giving my order I was advised that they no longer had chicken. Not that they no longer had bone in chicken but just that they no longer had chicken. I then proceeded to ask would there be a discount for not having any chicken at all. The cashier hesitated, and shortly after someone who I’m assuming is supposed to be the manager then got on the intercom. No I was not expecting a discount for there not being any chicken but they way the both of this cashiers handled the situation was very distasteful and definitely not the faces I would want greeting my customers. I strongly suggested retraining or corrective consultation on their customer service experience. Remember it’s not what you say, it’s how you say things. Pollo off of Atlantic, do better!! Very embarrassing

Went to this Pollo Tropical on my lunch break for a quick bite. While I was waiting for my food, the manager (I think her name was Ana) asked if I was being attended to. I told her yes and that I was just waiting on my order.
What really stood out to me was how attentive and genuine she was. You could tell she actually cared about the customers and wanted to make sure everyone was taken care of. My food came out fresh, hot, and faster than I expected. The restaurant was clean, and the staff seemed organized even during a busy lunch rush.

The ones that are franchises aren't what they used to be. The food isnt as good, prices too high for the meager portions, service spotty as you often don't get what you asked for here they give you what they feel like selling you. And many employees don't know Spanish so they sometimes wrongly interpret menu items which many are in Spanish. Pollo Tropical went down, stay away.

I hadn't been to this location for a long time because the service was so bad... but FINALLY they have a new manager (Ana) and things are running smoothly, the staff is on point, and the food is great.

I don’t normally go to this location, due to the fact they always seem to mess my order up. Just now I bit into what was supposed to be a Cesar wrap and instead is something completely different and not what I ordered. Don’t understand why it seems to be a reoccurring issue, but tonight was the last time I come to this place. Waste of time and money

I recently came to this pollo September 9, 2025 at approximately 12:18pm. My order was horrible. I ordered a quesadilla, something so simple. It was the most digusting thing I’ve ever had! The cheese was not cooked at all! Very hard, like it was fresh out the freezer and they microwaved it for 30 seconds. My server was Ana! Employee number 470593. I wouldn’t recommend this pollo at all. They don’t care about the quality they are giving their customers. They don’t deserve any stars. However, I couldn’t leave a review without putting one. -100000/000. I need someone held accountable and I need my refund.
