When I walked in I was greeted pleasantly. My waiter at first was a little off putting as if she was uncomfortable to serve me. She later eased up a little than became a little more open and vocal. I ordered a 3 egg omelette which I had the option to choose from home style fries I believe or grits. I choose grits and also order a side of Belgian waffle. The food was mediocre. Not my cup of tea at alll! The eggs lacked salt, the grits was horrible too thick like porridge or something. The waffle was ok a little on the cold side. However, I did enjoy my cappuccino though ?.

My go-to place near home for a simple, tasty breakfast on a weekend morning. Meals served in a homey, friendly environment. The staff here is top notch and the coffee is amazing!

Was not expecting to be treated the way we were when I went for a nice breakfast with a friend. I do feel we were treated this way because we are black and after reading other reviews, I am absolutely positive. When we came in, the waitress (1) immediately sat us in the back of the restaurant despite there being plenty of open seats by the windows and other booths. The waitress (2) who served us was pretty polite however I noticed that other customers walked in, were greeted and were able to just sit where they felt comfortable. When it came time to pay instead of us getting to go to the register like everyone else they brought an eft device to our table and sat it there until we were ready to pay. Then when we were leaving the waitress (1) loudly questioned the waitress (2) who served us if it was okay for us to leave. Saying 'Is it okay? Is it okay?' While walking behind us. There were also fruit flies flying around. The food wasn't all that either. What you would expect for the prices. the streak was not cooked how I requested. I wouldn't recommend and will never go back.
