The food was really good and fresh. The Cuban bread was "real" cuban bread (Casino bakery). We had the grilled chicken w yuca and rice. Although in my opinion, the fried yuca was better than the boiled yuca. The arroz Moro and the cafe con leche were my favs, however everything was flavorful.
Our server was great too, good customer service and very attentive to us, even though they were busy.
They have a kitten under their porch screaming for food and they get upset about people feeding them and deny rescue help. The kitten would get a safe indoor home and the adults fixed if they would allow help but instead they call the cops on someone that offered to help
I love Cafe Masaryktown! the best lunch in all of the Hernando County area hands down. Great food, great service. What more can you ask for? Today I ordered the pork medallions with yellow rice and plantains. I also ordered a side of fried yucca, Cafe con leche and a sweet tea. Highly recommend!
