“The food was really good and fresh. The Cuban bread was "real" cuban bread (Casino bakery). We had the grilled chicken w yuca and rice. Although in my opinion, the fried yuca was better than the boiled yuca. The arroz Moro and the cafe con leche were my favs, however everything was flavorful. Our server was great too, good customer service and very attentive to us, even though they were busy.”

“While visiting this area we decided to try a local breakfast place, are we glad we did!!! Paula R. was our server and she was VERY friendly and helpful even in helping us choose our breakfast and giving us her imput on toppings and condiments. She was very professional! The food was EXCELLENT!!!! I the omelet I nhad smothered in sausage gravy was wonderful as was the pancakes! This was one of the best tasting breakfast and service we have had in a very long time. Thank You, Paula and If we are back in the area, we will be back!!!!!”

“Michael, our waiter, was outstanding. He was personable, patient and helpful with very good suggestions from the entree list as well as recommending a good wine choice. Without a doubt he added to an enjoyable dining experience. The food was full of wonderful flavors and tastes. The garlic mashed potatoes, crab cake and desert were magnificent. However, the quality of the steaks, especially for the price, was disappointing. Plus, my wife and my steak were slightly over cooked and not as tender as would be expected. Defiantly not what you would expect from a highly rated, somewhat pricy steak house. I will say that the last visit was superb in comparison and the steaks had a very good wood smoked flavor, unlike this time. Consistency is important, knowing what you’ll be getting creates customer loyalty. Regardless both my Wife and I will visit this establishment again, requesting Michael as our server and hoping Prime 88 becomes a mainstay in our community for years to come.”

“We live close to the restaurant, and finally tried it out a few months ago, ...and WOW!! It exceeded our expectations. These guys know ALL about flavor, and how to maximize it. Iwas blown away by the burgers!! So was my husband. And the seasonings for the shrimp and chicken...out of this world!! The texture and golden brown crispness of the fries...perfection. The owners make you feel like family. And it seems that their menu has just about anything you could possibly be craving!!”

“My best friend & I went here for lunch today. Jorge , the GM, stopped at our table to make sure all was ok. It was great so far. Then we got an awesome waitress, Kristina. She could not have been any better. Had everything we needed and the food was outstanding. I called and spoke to Jorge and told him how pleased we were. People are so quick to complain so Kim & I decided to tell them how happy we were with start to finish. Gators Dockside has always been my favorite restaurant, and it’s still my favorite restaurant. “I really enjoy a good hot dog. My mother and I came here on July 24,2026 for our Friday night meal. She got the special fish plate which looked great, came with a golden brown large piece of cooked catfish and slaw which she kept telling me was so good, and a load of french 🍟. She wasn't able to eat all her meal. I had their all beef hot dog with chili, cheese and onion. It was so good!!!!! I also had a small french 🍟. The fries were a bit greasy for me but they were fresh and hot. The atmosphere is pretty unique.... Lots of old things to look at takes you back in time. The staff very friendly welcome you as you step through the door.
No drink refills, which is a bummer but the food is great.”

“It was our first time here. We went for breakfast and it was AMAZING! The bacon & hash browns were perfect and the eggs were exactly how my husband likes them. The cheese grits had cheese melted in, not just sprinkled on top. Perpetua was our server & she was very friendly. We will definitely be back!”

“We just left Deep South FamilyBBQ. The food was excellent. For a small restaurant, I was pleasantly surprised that each course came out when needed and everything was hot, not spicy hot. That is the first time we have encountered that in Florida. Fried green tomatoes were perfect, the ribs were moist, the sides were like homemade, and the fried peach pie was to die for… We will be back.”
