Every time we have been to AJ's we have been more than satisfied. The portions are usually too big for us to finish and there are gluten friendly options available for many items. The deviled eggs are a nice and interesting touch.
I was excited to go here for the first time. We walked in to an almost empty restaurant which I was surprised by for a Sunday at lunchtime. My son immediately pointed down to a dead cockroach on the ground. We waited some time before we were seated and then waited some more. 1 table got up and left due to no one helping them. Another table looked mad for no service…As we continued to wait we noticed there was no kids meal on the menu so we decided to just leave. A family that was waiting at the front while we were leaving left after us due to not even getting seated. We were so disappointed as we were excited to try somewhere new!
I have to agree with other reviews, their pretzel is fantastic. I will say, though, that the beer cheese is nothing special. It could use a little spice or smokiness. The ribs were tender with a nice tangy sauce. Both restrooms are also baby friendly with a changing table.

Tonight we went to AJ Lager House for dinner. The food was good (Fish&Chips and the Southwest Bowl). But it took a long time to get our food and the service was very poor. I think there were only 2 or 3 servers but they looked overwhelmed. We were not even offered refills. Hope they turn this around, otherwise they will probably not make it.
Went to this restaurant twice 2 weeks apart. The first time, on a weekday, service was okay, I thought the food was really good. I had a Cobb salad. They were great with subbing feta for blue cheese. Served quickly and it was one of the best salads I’ve had in a long time. Pork belly was a great addition. The croutons were tasty. I was very impressed. Went home and told my husband about it. We decided to try again today (Sunday). Service was slow although only one other party in the dining room, who paid and left soon after we got there. We both ordered Cobb salad. Now could only sub cheddar cheese for blue (that’s okay). After about 30 minutes food finally arrived. No croutons, no cheese on mine. I think there might have been one or two tiny pieces of pork belly. My husband said he didn’t think he had any. What a disappointment especially since you’re charging almost $20 a salad. At least send out what you offer. Probably won’t eat here again which is a pity because I would have cone again for the salad I had on the first day

I just did carry out at AJ's. Ordered the Fish and Chips and it was very good, right up there with Archie's. Nice clean, modern decor and the server that took my order was very pleasant and professional. Definitely will be going back.

First time trying AJ's Lager House was for a retirement party for a co-worker and the staff did a fantastic job accommodating our group of 30 plus people! We had a buffet set up and sat at the tables in the bar area and it was perfect! We had pretzel bites, chicken wings, chicken tenders and the chicken nachos and everything was delicious. They kept the food fresh and rotated and we had the bartender Ian all to ourselves. I'm looking forward to going back and ordering something else from the menu! Highly recommend!

There is a lot of negative criticism of this establishment on several review sides. We have eaten there on 4 occasions. Overall satisfied. Two observations. Serve chicken gravy with your fried chicken selection. The brown gravy just doesn't work. Either take wings off your menu or get larger wings and increase the price if necessary. I agree with other reviewers the wings are tiny for the price. Have only ordered once so maybe a fluke
We will eat there again

I came to AJ’S Lager House to have a business lunch all to my surprise I had to leave and go elsewhere, the customer service was so nasty, I didn’t even want to order anymore. If I could rate them at a zero I would this was the worst experience every
I don’t understand how this place isn’t busier. The food is great, the service is stellar, and the bartender we had, Ian, was phenomenal. Hopefully, this place picks up. I’m sure it will, gain popularity the longer it is open.

Wonton tuna tacos and wonton tacos are delicious! Blackened chicken Alfredo was also very good. Friendly staff and clean facility. Would definitely recommend.

So we ate at AJ’s logger house tonight! We had the fried chicken breast mashed potatoes and gravy and sirloin steak dinner And lava cake For dessert! It is nicely decorated. They were having trivia in the bar. It wasn’t crowded service by Brittany was excellent!! I am so happy this establishment is here in Viera! Seriously cannot wait to go back! It saddened me there were not more people there of course it is Monday. Best meal I’ve had in a while anywhere! If you haven’t tried it, you should it has the whole ambience of neighborhood place with excellent food! And the margaritas were especially good as well!
