Just came back from Old School and there are signs on the door that say IT'S PERMANTLY CLOSED. Not surprised. I feel for the employees, just a couple weeks until Christmas. He should have called Bar Rescue.

Ordered a Mediterranean Greek Salad for take out through Yelp. The staff was super friendly when I arrived, but the salad itself was much smaller than expected. I wasn't expected a huge salad for $6.49 and no meat, but I did assume it would at least be a full size salad. So I looked up their menu online (not through Yelp) and there's apparently 2 sizes, the large just a dollar more. Not an option through Yelp ordering. Also when I read "fresh greens", I'm hoping for more than just iceberg lettuce. Maybe it's just me...

For over a year all say order from Marcos. After tonites disaster I convinced. The rudeness of staff and incorrect order I am done!!!!!!

An unremarkable locale with a memorable experience - in a good way...My adult son wanted to eat here for his birthday - a pizza joint. Right from the get-go I was none-too-thrilled, but it's his day so who am I to judge? Well, the moment we walked in I was intrigued - 80s music playing in the background, an unassuming bar, plenty of seating either booths or tables, big-screen TVs all around, and it had this greasy-spoon vibe that I truly love. I felt almost at ease and even happy now with his choice of dinner locations.Their menu is extensive if not entirely unique - burgers, salads, wraps, calzones, strombolis, and even some dinner menu items. Of course with the bar comes the obvious choices of beer, wine, and spirits and they had plenty to offer. Service was super friendly, very chatty (like I like 'em) and efficient. Our choices in meals, from the appetizers of garlic nots, to the dinner choices that ranged from calzones to wraps to wings to pizza was spot on. This is a perfect example of a bar that chooses to make the food it offers good - not just serviceable. And back to the service - a bar whose waitresses care about the patrons at the table and their food - not just the booze. It was a refreshing experience. So, come for the food, stay for the beer (I say) and if you're an 80s holdover like me - sit back and enjoy the tunes and reminisce...
