I just visited BJ at Melbourne this afternoon to pickup my membership card that I joined last evening for $15. The BJ flyer keeps coming on my mailbox so I joined to find out if it's any better than Sam's Club where I've been membership for over 30 years. My first impression at service desk was horrible. I gave my driver license to the lady and asked if I can get my membership card. She took my license and worked the computer and threw my license back to my on the counter, then she threw the membership on the counter as well. I'm not sure because I joined with discount BJ invitations flyers or she had a bad day, but that's is insulting not customer services.
Really not happy with the constant solicitors inside BJ’s. During just one visit, I was approached by three different salespeople trying to sell me things I didn’t ask for. It felt pushy and disruptive, I just wanted to shop in peace.
Terrible customer service and even worse management. Bjs is a decent wholesale club but this location is not worth it.
BJ's always has something for everyone, and at a reasonable price.
The inventory is always changing so on any given shopping day you might find a surprise purchase you didn't think you needed..
It's very well stocked, clean, and the employees are pleasant and helpful.
I get such a kick when I run into the inventory robot, this week it's dressed for Halloween.
We love the pregnant woman at the door. She always does her job with a smile and great attitude. I know it's got to be hatd on her being pregnant. But she does wonderful customer service.
A smooth and fast shopping experience.
I have always had a great experience with every BJs I have been to across Florida. That being said, I just had a bad experience of having items from my curbside order removed by BJs staff. I ordered an 18 pack of individually boxed milk and when I got home, I saw the box sitting upright with the box opened and four missing. I am not accusing anyone, only stating I didn’t get what I ordered.
Easy shopping,
Plenty of self checkout counter's
We get our gas here with a BJs Capital One card because we get 10 cents off per gallon of gas. We then just pay it off at the end of the month.
They have several things we buy regularly. We like their rotisserie chickens. Good size for only $4.99. They are great for a quick meal. I buy my paperback books at BJs too. Better priced than most stores. We bought tires here once. Good price but wouldn't do it again. They have free lifetime tire rotation but even with an appointment you wait forever to get your car back. Not worth the aggravation. If you need big packages of things BJs is great. For just two of us we don't need big packages..
Good selection, clean, organized

I love this store way better than Sam's club! The selection is great and there is always new things being put out for the home, yard everything! Great store and the food is always fresh. Except one time when I got a chicken wing platter that was bad and we all got food poisoning. So I just don't buy those lol. The rest of the store is great. I just wish there were more cashier's on the weekends because the lines are insane and there is never anyone working. I personally hate self checkout I don't pay all that money and a membership fee to do it myself. That's my only complaint
Where do I begin?
1. I don’t consume alcohol, so I requested a virgin piña colada. Unfortunately, I was served what tasted like diluted pineapple juice. It was disappointing and far from what I expected.
2. A family member ordered a mojito, but we were genuinely puzzled by its flavor—or rather, the lack of it. At that point, we started to wonder if the person preparing the drinks simply didn’t care.
3. The food was also underwhelming. We ordered a well-done sirloin, but what arrived was extremely overcooked—burnt to the point of being inedible. It tasted charred, not grilled. This experience discouraged us from ordering dessert, as we worried it would follow the same trend of poor quality.
4. Regarding the charges: we were surprised to see additional fees for items like drink refills, which are typically complimentary at many establishments.
5. The final bill came out to over $245 for a party of five. To give a comparison, a similar meal at LongHorn Steakhouse would have likely cost around $120—with significantly better food and service.
We have been a member of BJs since 2011. We are very happy with the store.
They never have more than one cashier open. They expect customers to check themselves out and then you have to put your own stuff in boxes, because they don't do that either. But there's always 3 people at the door to great you and to check to see if you scanned all of your items. At least costco offers customer service.
This place is a joke anymore.
we shop at this Bjs atleast once a week..neat and clean, well stocked always, nice and friendly employees, discounts on essentials in the app most of the time we need something..love shopping at Bjs!
