We recently dined at The Chart House in Melbourne Fl. (2/17/26) and unfortunately left very disappointed.
The setting on the water is beautiful, and we were really looking forward to a nice evening out. However, the experience didn’t live up to the restaurant’s reputation or price point. We ordered prime rib medium, only to be told when it arrived that all of their prime rib was cooked well done that day and couldn’t be served at the requested temperature. That’s not what you expect from a restaurant of this stature, and it was a major letdown.
Other parts of the meal were underwhelming as well. The food lacked the quality and care we expected, and the service felt slow and somewhat disorganized. Our server, Alexis was great but hindered by erroneous information. By the time we added drinks, tip, and dinner, the total came to $205, which made the experience even harder to justify.
With such a great location, this restaurant has a lot of potential, but based on this visit, it did not deliver the quality or value we were hoping for.
We won't be returning. As a kicker, I'm stuck with s 50$ gift card.

Our party of four had a fantastic Valentine’s Day dinner at Charthouse Melbourne. Amara gave us outstanding service all evening, and managers. Bill and RJ made us feel like VIPs for the moment we arrived. Great food, great atmosphere, and truly exceptional hospitality. Highly recommended.

What an incredible experience at the Chart House in Melbourne, Florida! From the moment we walked in, everything just clicked; amazing food, wonderful service, an impressive selection of adult beverages, and an ambiance that truly set the tone for a perfect night out.
Our server Brandon was absolutely fantastic & professional, attentive, and made us feel genuinely welcomed. To top it off, the evening manager stopped by to check on us, which really showed how much they care about the guest experience.
After striking out at two other restaurants earlier that evening, we’re beyond happy we ended up here. It was 100% worth it. Highly recommend this location, and we already can’t wait to come back and check out their Sunday Brunch! 🍽️🥂
