Ciao Italian Grill

We celebrated our anniversary with a late lunch at Ciao Italian Grill. It was so tasty and the menu had perfect amount of choices. The atmosphere was so cozy and service was pleasant and helpful. I think we have a new favorite dining choice.

Five stars all the way.

Ciao Italian Grill is the kind of place that instantly makes you feel at home. From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere felt like a true traditional Italian restaurant. Warm, welcoming, and full of character. It genuinely brought back that feeling of when pasta was spaghetti and dining out was about comfort, conversation, and incredible food.

The food was outstanding across the board. Every dish was full of flavor and clearly made with care. The wine selection was just as impressive and thoughtfully curated, making it easy to find the perfect pairing for our meal.

One of the highlights of the evening was meeting the owner, Panos. His passion for hospitality and genuine love for what he does truly set the tone for the entire experience. You can feel that heart in every detail of the restaurant.

As if the night could not get any better, we also happened to meet David Spade while we were there, which made the evening even more memorable.

Ciao Italian Grill is a place that gets everything right. Amazing food, delightful wine, a classic Italian atmosphere, and ownership that truly cares. We will absolutely be back.

I had dinner at Ciao yesterday evening with a friend and it was all great. Our waitress started us off with lovely, crispy garlic bread. We both had entrees so had a choice of soup or salad. I went with the soup of the day which was tomato bisque. It was excellent. Thick and delicious. My friend had the side salad. She said it was very good, especially the blue-cheese dressing.
My entree was a large slice of lasanga. It, too, was delicious. I had been craving lasanga, and this hit the spot. My friend said her shrimp scampi, which she had over angel-hair pasta instead of the linguini on the menu, was very good.
Service was prompt and friendly. I'd never been there before and enjoyed the ambience. Italian songs played while we ate. We always have dinner early so Ciao was fairly empty when we got there but it had filled up quite a bit when we left.

I have been here before and was not disappointed...however this time I knew what to expect and they surpassed my expectations! Yvette was excellent, friendly, pleasant and knowledgeable! The Veal Parmigiano...perfecto! I love the atmosphere...a taste of Italy!

Very disappointing experience. The food was mediocre at best, honestly downright horrible. The chicken was obviously frozen, pre-grilled and chewy. The Alfredo was gritty and flavorless. Everything tasted like it came out of a jar. The service was slow. It is obvious they are extremely understaffed. After we left, we realized our bill was higher than it should have been, meaning they jipped us somewhere somehow and we didn’t catch it. Will not be going back.

Becky made my birthday special! She is above and beyond as a server. The food was authentic and delicious. Our party of three had chicken parm, eggplant parm and a shrimp entree. The price was right and this was just what Italian New Yorkers are used to.
