I loved the outdoor patio! The shrimp and conch fritters were delicious with that crab remoulade! The ham and cheese endive was ok. Endive was a bitter. But the ham and cheese was great. Samantha provided fantastic service 👏!!

Central coastal Florida is certainly an odd place which is lacking in next-level beer establishments, making it all the more exciting when you discover a place like Coasters.

Coasters was recommended to me for their Belgian Beer Month, which takes place all month every February.

Upon arriving, I was able to deal with the only negative aspect right up front: the parking lot. I'm always scared of tight, angled, oversized strip mall parking lots, especially when they're in the senior citizen capital of the US. Luckily, my rental car made it unscathed and I quickly located the strip mall sports bar-looking Coasters, nestled snugly in a corner.

The interior reminds me of some of my favorite lived-in beer pubs.. O'Brien's in SD immediately comes to mind as well as Horse Brass in Portland. There are some deep cut tin tackers and white whale beer glasses on display at this time capsule of a bar.

The beers were pristine, some were extremely rare, and they went out of their way to offer both bottled and draft offerings for the Belgian beer month. They did serve most Belgians in a very generic wine glass which, while better than a pint glass, wasn't ideal. Maybe they relax their glassware service due to the festival?

Service was also great, super-friendly servers who at least faked a pretty good enthusiasm for trappist ales. I never had an empty glass for too long and the bartender was full of jokes, smiles, and positive interactions. And mind you, it was pretty busy as this fest was just getting under way.

Selection is very difficult to complain about if you're looking for Euro/Import beer. This may be one of the last places in the US with an old-enough clientele to make this type of menu work and I am here for it. If I had to ding them one bit on their selection, it would be a loyalty to the larger-scale Belgians, but I'd imagine these relationships are also important nowadays to keep the free brewery swag showing up. Lots of Delirium, Bavik, Duvel, Floris, Lindemans, etc. etc. but then they also had De Garre Tripel, La Trappe draft, among others. Bad with the good.

The food was also amazing, I had a flemish beef carbonnade which was a special for the fest.. immaculately slow cooked and served over super crispy fries. Would have had a second order if I had the time. Wish I had the opportunity to return and try the other belgian specialties which looked great! (pearl sugar waffle, croquettes, white asparagus, etc.) oh well, guess i have an excuse to go back next year...

Thanks to all the people who make this place great and keep it up so that old men like me have a place to drink those beers!!!

Delicious! Fantastic service and relaxed atmosphere. Beer tasted like we were back in Germany! Our first sip we both sighed in delight. The beef on wick was juicy, perfectly cooked and the house made horseradish spread sealed the deal. The alpine chicken boosted an entire portobello cap! Not to mention the flavorful Demi glaze. We started with the pretzel and beer cheese dip. The pretzel came out steaming hot and was delicious! Will definitely be back soon!

Wanted to share my appreciation that the staff was educated about Gluten Free. They have gluten free options on their menu. I ordered a burger without a bun. The food runner came to table but it had bun so I said it wasn't what I ordered. He went back to kitchen and manager came out and said no problem, they apologized and were making a complete new meal knowing it had been contaminated by the bun. I appreciated that they didn't just take it off the bun and bring it back, I could tell it was a fresh meal. It's the little things that make people come back, thanks. Now if they could just add one Gluten free beer, not a cider, it would be perfect!

What a cute little place tucked away in a strip mall. Outdoor seating is beautiful and Bavarian pretzels are delicious.

Highly recommend this restaurant. It has Irish style food and great selection of beer. The seating outside in the back makes for a pleasant eating experience, especially when the weather is nice.

We took our dogs to the back bier garden as we just came with our dogs from the beach. The patio was really chill without being boring. Good fish and chips. Good beer selection. Pricey as all the places here but at least we enjoyed it!!

Such a great place! Love having somewhere we can bring our pups where they feel as welcome as we are. Staff is super friendly and the food is awesome! Highly recommend if you want a chill place you can bring your dogs with great food! Helpful tip: park in the back and check in with the host up front. Can’t miss it if you drive behind the building.
