We drove 30 minutes for a nice meal. The restaurant is closed. It's a Saturday, so they should be open. They look VERY closed. We didn't call ahead because they don't take reservations. Oh well. Pretty drive.

Went to take a family member there for her birthday dinner and there was a closed sign on the door. Called the restaurant phone number and the recording said closed after twenty years and thanking customers for their loyalty over the years.

The owner was in the back pounding, breading and frying the Wiener schnitzel. The serving was bigger than me head and I got two meals out of it. The potato pancakes were crispy with a hint of onion. Cucumber salad was crisp, tangy with a hint of dill. For my next visit, I will get the sampler.

5 STARS!!!! Absolutely the best German food in town!!! The servers are fast and very polite, the chef is on point and the prices can not be beat! You get so much delicious food its almost impossible to eat it all, I always have a to go box! One of my favorite places to eat and sample all the different German beers on tap!

We obviously went to a very different place than some of the over inflated reviews I have read. Since they do not take reservations, there is a very chaotic first come first serve basis with the customers somehow keeping track of their place on a non existent line. WHAT??? I ordered German Dark draft beer, but they were out. WHAT??? We then waited almost 2 hours for food that never arrived and then we walked out. WHAT??? In addition, there is a 3-1/2% upcharge to you bill if you use a modern day credit card. WHAT??? The last time that happened to me was in the mid 1970's. The place has never been updated. It is a low budget yesteryear eatery than sorely needs to get relocated in the real world. The patrons are locals and (trust me) NO ONE is coming from Palm beach, that is hysterical. WOW. Glad that's over with.

Cute little hole in the wall joint that has the feel of the old country. The decor is reminiscent of traditional German styling. The food is fantastic and with a couple regional variations that I had not seen in my time in Germany. The beer is good, the food is good hearty flavorful German cuisine, the wine has a few imports from Germany that are delicious. I know that when I am missing Germany I can come here and feel transported back to some of the best years of my life.
We adore Edelweiss. The food is amazing and the atmosphere is cozy. We've been there a handful of times and never had a bad meal. The service is also excellent.
Golden Aldi
Well it’s not what I was expecting. The restaurant is very small inside, and needs a bit of a good cleaning and coat of paint. It looked like they’re trying to sell the restaurant. I ordered a real Wienerschnitzel, is is with veal instead of pork. I paid extra for the veal, and it didn’t come with any sauce so I paid more than you would for the Jaeger or Zigeuner. The schnitzel was acceptable, but my side dishes were red cabbage and potato salad, which if you like a lot of vinegar, would probably be fine, but it wasn’t for me.

As with the other visits, food is top notch and serve is great. Reminds me of a nice German Gasthouse.
