Quite literally had one of the best meals of my life in this little gem. The food was so full of flavor, the coffee was incredible, our server was friendly and we even got to hear some amazing guitar and vocals. The mojo pork, the beef and chicken empanadas and plantains were muy delicioso! We were treated like family. I simply cannot wait to go back! Muchas gracias y Dios lo bendiga!

From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with smiles and genuine hospitality. The restaurant has a calm, modern vibe and offers a wonderful selection of dishes. We tried the grilled salmon and roasted vegetables — everything was cooked to perfection. The desserts were equally impressive, especially the panna cotta. Prices are fair, and service was prompt. Easily one of the best dining experiences I’ve had in Melbourne.

I will leave 3 stars, because, even when the food was bad, and our server didn’t manage to bring anything from what we ordered, and they add random things in the bill, maybe thinking that as long as is less than $2 it’s ok for them to charge a “administrative fee “. Basically making me pay for … what? What am i paying for with this money? Anyway, bad food, bad service, stealing from you, but I still give them 3 starts because they stated very clearly their Cuban spirit in the menu and ambience at this place, and I admire that, I was very impressed. While I won’t be coming back and I won’t recommend it to anyone, I won’t discourage anyone that wants to go , unless you are looking for really good food. If you just want something that’s close to be cuban, this place is ok.

Never knew El Ambia Cubano existed before it was recommended by ChatGBT (of all things) but I’m so glad it did.
Food was delicious, the atmosphere great and the service on point. Loved the decor too! I had the Ropa Vieja and a cafe con leche afterwards. Everything was so authentic and something I wouldn’t expect to find in Melbourne.
I’m moving out of the area but hope to be back before I go. Highly recommend!

Awesome service. Our server was Jennifer. Food was awesome. Thank you for the great food and service.
Could have been 5 star all the way, but that masas de puerco was too tough and chewy. It needed to be stewed longer. The rice and beans were fire (really good). Love the atmosphere and my server was awesome. Overall I really enjoyed my food overall.

Everything I’ve eaten here is great and the waitresses are always nice. The Cuban sandwich is great as well
The best cuban sandwich in Palm Bay! The ambiance is lovely, the view outside the restaurant is serene with the river flowing in the front, sometimes the manatees swim by. The food is always fresh and delicious 😋 a band plays on the weekend.

Original review: Authentic! But they should offer a selection of hot sauces for those wishing it.
