This is my HAPPY PLACE! The Mojo roast chicken would make angels weep — soooo tender, juicy and perfectly seasoned + the BEST rice and plantains. Service is always stellar, lots of mint in the mojitos and the music nights are exceptional! I am anxious to try the seafood dishes if I can leave the Pollo Adado chicken and fabulous Picadillo ??. EVERY dessert and the Cafe Con Leche are (sigh) worth every tasty bite/calorie!! Lunchtime means you can gaze upon the river through palms and enjoy the Bright Train go by. ???
Parking: We typically go at lunch and park in the small front lot but lots of close, free parking.

A very nice and familiar place, the treatment is excellent and most importantly the attention of its owners, a place that every time you visit you notice new changes and improvements for the better, I recommend it, do not forget to ask it every time you consume the pod of the house, only for the breaks of the house.

BEST Tamales ive ever had and such authentic and comfortable atmosphere. They even let us bring our pup and they brought him water. The people here are great and when there is live music the lights and the vibes are spectacular. Then you can walk across the street and take a walk by the river. AMAZING place for a date night or a family outing. Favorite spot in town

Really enjoyed my first visit here and found the food and service excellent.
Almost made me feel like I was somewhere else authentic to the food with a nice lively vibe and loud music playing. Sat inside as it was a hot afternoon but they also have a large covered patio for cooler weather.
Prices of food and beer was very reasonable and delicious.

The best Cuban sandwich I've ever had...but I'm from Nebraska...was here on a vacation with friends and they had come to this restaurant for 14 years and had met the owner. Wonderful story about the owners. Sad we didn't get to see him singing. Teenagers said the Cuban coffee good ..and surprisingly sweet. Very reasonable prices for a vacation spot.
