Ethel and Fred’s was the definition of mom and pop. Don’t let the atmosphere or location deter you. Friendly staff and I think Ethel and Fred literally work there. Can’t get more authentic. Generous servings and better staff.
They close at 2:00, so breakfast and lunch only. We were there for lunch. I was picking up flooring down the street and they recommended Ethel & Fred's when I asked for a local mom-and-pop place with really good food. Glad they recommended it, as it was great!
The server said their patty melt and burgers are exceptional, so we got one of each. I asked for crispy fries, and she said they already come pretty crispy, and they were perfect. Really good...

Oh my God thank you for this place i just to a trip back home to oklahoma with every bite Biscuit and sausage gravy, a country scrambler. And a side of bacon and scramble eggs wow just wow .
