Frigate's Waterfront Bar & Grill - Melbourne

We make the trip from Vero Beach to Frigate’s at least once a month for their blackened chicken mac n cheese. We get it every single time and also order one to go for even more leftovers. It’s THAT good!! We sit outdoors, the atmosphere is great. Right on the river surrounded by palm trees…it’s perfect. If it’s hot, they have fans moving the air and if it’s chilly, they have heaters out so it’s always comfortable. I fully recommend making the trip…you won’t be disappointed.

Frigate’s is our favorite place. Good food, beautiful atmosphere and always top notch service from our favorite bartenders Dianna and Trevor!

Trevor and Dianna are the BEST!! Masters at the bar and give great food recs. Highly recommend Frigates - visit them at the bar!

Deanna and Trevor are always so friendly and attentive to all our food and drink wishes. They make us feel like we are at home. Such a great place to hang by the water!

Had a great lunch here. Sat out on the lower deck and shared the cracked conch and the Mahi fish dip. Both were good. Service was fast and friendly and the atmosphere was well done.

Ryan, R was awesome great server awesome attitude he got the orders correct he was just amazing. He needs a raise or hire more people like him! I certainly enjoyed my meal. Thank you Ryan for making my family Father’s Day. Wonderful for my dad.

The crusted grouper on top of the risotto is amazing. Apps were good. Service was friendly. Location on the water with plenty of shade is very nice. Classy spot, good for nice work dinner or date night.

We went for Easter brunch.And it was so disappointing.The food was cold only one person on pasta bar and my shrimp was not cooked and it took forever .They had chicken and fish in the same warmer.It just seemed like we were at the end of the brunch and it was 2:00.Not at all what I was hoping for and always enjoyed going there.

Service was good, Traci Moore was absolutely wonderful waitress she made our experience worth coming back! Food was great , such a beautiful atmosphere. It was a pleasant time, we had a few friends and never felt rushed. Thank you !

We had an amazing lunch at Frigate's Waterfront Bar and Grill today and can’t recommend it enough! From the moment we arrived, the experience was fantastic. We were quoted a short wait time, received a text confirmation, and were seated even sooner than expected. The patio seating by the water was perfect, offering amazing views, delicious food, and unbeatable service. On top of the great atmosphere, we got to see manatees, snook chasing bait, and pelicans landing in the water—it was a true Florida experience! The staff was friendly and welcoming, making the visit even better. We’ll definitely be back!
