This place has went way Downhill. You could obviously tell it's beginning it's death rattle.
Our favorite place around the Melbourne area. Best coffee ever!!! That’s a must for me. 😁Food is phenomenal as is the friendliness of the staff.
Almost everything I ate was delicious. I was with a large party and everywhere everyone enjoyed their meals.
The server seemed distracted and didn't attend to me nearly as much as I'd have liked. For example, I had asked several questions about an item and she convinced me to order it... but she didn't check on me or the item until about half an hour after it had been served. I was disappointed by the one thing I was concerned about with that menu item, which was what I'd expressed to her before placing the order.
The chicken wings were insanely tender and delicious.
The empanadas were dry hard and over cooked, but the meat inside was tasty enough.
The French Fries were some of the best I'd ever had... I highly recommend them. Great texture. Served piping hot. Not oily or greasy. Lovely flavor/ seasoning. 10 out of 10!

We were told that there would be a 20-30 minute wait, and that we can order from the window outside. This made me so happy, being from Miami, it reminded me of the windows from cafes. Immediately I realized that we would not be getting normal Cuban coffee. The cafe con leche wasn’t really hot, and was not authentic at all, so don’t expect it to be. It didn’t matter because we ordered the coffee and then were immediately sat at a table. We had to ask our waitress to grab our drinks from the cafe area. We ordered the bruschetta as an appetizer. I personally didn’t like it but my fiancé did. It’s still sitting cold in my stomach, an hour later. I ordered the tortellini with mahi for dinner, which was mediocre but decent enough. My fiancé got the ribs which was absolutely drenched in sauce. The ribs come with a side of cole slaw but he subbed it with fried yuca. The fried yuca was good but they gave chimmichuri sauce and ketchup as a sauce. Very sad. At least pollo tropical knows the correct sauce to pair with fried yuca. To top the dinner off, I ordered their Unforgettable Adventure drink. I cannot describe how horrible these flavors were all together at the end.
Eating here was definitely an adventure I would like to forget. I thought I would be transported to my roots in Miami and Cuba, but I was instead faced with appropriation of food and culture, decore from the keys, and a $110 bill.
Thanks, Hemmingways.

I had a great lunch at Hemingways. I had the Mushroom Swiss burger & truffle fries and my fiancé had the red snapper sandwich grilled & blackened for lunch. I will definitely be back! It was my 3rd time and I have great food & service every time.
Update: still loving that Cuban. Super friendly and enjoyed my delicious seasonal iced pumpkin oatmeal latte while I waited.

Favorite place to go for great food! Ambiance, food, service, all on par. We frequent here regularly because we are locals, and we know where to eat. This is one of those places! Don't miss out on this one if you want great mojo pork and island vibes!!! Great key west vibe and based on earnest hemmingway and what you would guess his favorite dishes would be from Key West, Miami, and Cuba!

Love Hemingways! There are good reasons this restaurant is so popular. With its unique decor of Key West, hunting, fishing, and marine life, it’s got a classy yet casual feel and is comfortable. The food and beverages are great and the service is too. What more could you want?!
Parking: Plenty of parking. It’s right next to the movie theater so you could see a movie before or after going to Hemingways.

The Cuban sandwich had hardly any meat on it, mostly bread?Definitely not worth the money? The pork and the black bean soup was good, the atmosphere was nice but a bit loud. The service was good. I think Hemingways Tavern is a bit overrated, I have no interest in visiting again.

After seeing a movie at the Oaks, I was craving Hemingways fish dip with plantain chips & the most incredible jalapeño relish. I checked out the Cafe window service and it was perfect for this quick trip. And as always, the food was incredible!
