We stopped on the way down to Miami from Orlando, and it was a great choice for lunch. My fiance is a chef and said the wagyu burger he had was "devine." I never liked onion rings before, but I tried his, and they were really good. The sweet potato tots with cinnamon were popular for the whole family. And the service was great: we felt taken care of and welcome. We'd stop here again!

Really nice staff, and delicious dinners. If we were locals in would be a regular spot for us!!! So glad we tried it! Had a huge delicious burger, a grilled chicken sandwich with great flavors, and very nicely marinated skewers with veggies.

This is such a fun restaurant. I got the salad with shrimp and they were both delicious. The shrimp were perfectly cooked and the severs were super attentive and helpful.
Tried this spot for the first time on Wednesday for Wagyu Wednesday burgers. These burgers were cooked to order and were incredible! I went with the build-your-own burger, and my husband opted for the hangover burger. The service was good, and the staff was friendly. We will be back to try the lobster roll!

There it is again. It seems that every time I open Facebook to post an update, I see food from Island IX up in Viera pop up in my news feed. I have to admit that the advertising photos of the burgers looked great and I was excited to try this place. Viera is just a hop, skip and a long jump from the BBDO HQ so I just beat my appetite to the door.
My service professional today was Faith. Faith was outstanding in every way possible. I am having one hell of a service month! Faith knew her job inside and out, I was very impressed. I asked Faith for some of their Fish Tacos, a Santorini Burger and a Boston Lobster Roll. One thing I did notice was that this place has the knock-off fountain drinks that taste like someone mopped the floor first and this was the standing water remnant. We both asked for water and the other server, being honest and not a good myrmidon said, “No one drinks it. It tastes terrible.” I guess the owner is going down with the ship on this item. As Faith retreated to the kitchen to place my order, I took the opportunity to snap a few pics of the joint and enjoy the atmosphere.
The first item of business on my palate was the Fish Tacos. STOP THE PRESSES! Look at the pics. These are, by far, the BEST fish tacos in all of Brevard County. Hands down. No competition. Thank you for playing. Drive safely. The texture of the fish, the flavor combinations, the tortillas were all miles above anything else I've had on the Space Coast. However, taking my job as seriously as I do, I couldn't jump to any conclusions. To be sure, instead of my usual one or two taste bites, I had to finish one. Yep. Best. EVER!
Forcing myself to move on, I wrapped my meaty mitts around the Santorini Burger and gnawed off a good-sized chunk. As I masticated on what was certainly NOT medium rare as requested, but some poorly executed smash burger devoid of all seasoning, I pondered, How do you make the area's best fish taco and an awful burger? Moving on to the last item in today's dietary discourse, the Boston Lobster Roll. I don't know about you, but I love sea bugs! Wait. What? The Boston Lobster Roll is not Lobster? Nope. It's billed as “Lobster Sensation” by the distributor and consists of whitefish, krab (more fish) & lobster. In other words, it's a mixture comprised of 2/3 fish to 1/3 lobster pressed together not unlike the “wood” of a school desk of old made of pressed sawdust.
I know you are wondering, but Big Boy, How can this place get a 3.5-star review if 2 of the 3 items ordered were sub-par? Easy, loyal reader and follower alike. The Fish Tacos are that damn good. The owner messaged me and asked me not to say anything negative as he was afraid it would sink him. I respect that, I honestly do; however, after forking over $97.00 I felt obligated to speak the truth.
The Big Boy says, “Go and eat the best fish taco EVER! Just bring a can of soda with you and DO NOT order anything else. Oh, and ask for Faith's section. She rocks.”

I was not a fan. Food was mediocre. Lobster roll was not fresh lobster, it was a seafood salad that came out of a tub, very disappointed. And it still cost $20. The best thing were the kettle chips.
