Pool tables, darts, big screens, a few games and some ancient popcorn. Looked like a good place to party but not to eat. I had their special and it was mediocre, at best.

This is my second review of Kelly's burgers and beer (now crickets?) I went in there around 9:pm on Monday September 22nd 2025.... I've been in Melbourne my whole life. I've been following Mr Kelly around for decades. I've have enjoyed a thousand hamburgers (at a few different locations) over the years...... Until now. I ordered a medium rare hamburger with lettuce, tomato, onion and pickle.(a side of fries) The atmosphere was pretty slow. As, it was late Monday night. There were only a few people at the bar. I'm not quite sure if the original owner is still in charge there? Mind you, I've never had a bad experience in the past (on Mike's watch)... But, this visit was a different story! Again, not many people...it took about 20min for any staff to acknowledge my existence. (I had to waive some twenty-dollar bills) The burger I got was worse than prison food! Brown lettuce, bad tomato,.... the beef was burnt,dry and cold. Absolutely inedible (could have cracked a tooth) I did complain to my server. I thought perhaps, there might have been an admirer of mine in the kitchen?(someone that might personally dislike me) therefore, it might have been served that way intentionally? (I wasn't gonna get anything else) The bartender, let me know...2.$ would be discounted đ I REALLY DIDN'T WANT TO COMPLAIN! For almost 30yrs I've been bragging/telling anyone that might listen; WHO MAKES THE BEST FREAKING BURGER!

I am checking out this place for the first time. I am not finding the staff friendly at all. No smiles on any staff faces and they all look as if everyone was given bad news today. I'll check it out another time because it looks like a nice place, but tonight the atmosphere is no good. Maybe I came on an off night.

Went there for a retirement get together. Ordered the garlic parm wings and they were a disappointment...dry and small. But I will say that our waitress Amanda was a rock star!! We probably had 25 people there and she killed it....and kept a smile on her face.

We just left this establishment and I will never return. The bartenders were awesome but the owner is extremely rude. We came here to watch a pre season NFL game and had been watching since the beginning. Another patron asked to switch the game from the game we were watching and my husband asked if it could be on another tv as we were watching the game on that tv. The owner then stated that all we had to do was ask for it to be on another tv (which we had and was told it couldnât be) he then stated âit is only preseasonâ regardless if it is pre season or not, we were paying customers just like the other patron. My husband and I love to support local but canât support someone who doesnât give a shit about their customers. At least if you arenât regulars. (Which we liked the vibe originally and would have liked to become). If you like being treated like they care about your business go elsewhere.
Food was bland.. in ordered the smash burger.. the burger was just bland and the fries were drenched in fryer oil and dark as if the oil hand not Ben changed in a while.. I came with my 3 kids and I ordered 3 kids chicken strips and fries and only got one with the smash burgers.. my son had to eat off my plate till the server came around and finally saw me trying to remind her she forgot the other two orders . To make matters worse I ordered 3 lemonade for the kids which all 3 came with no added sugar.. tasteless.. I asked to have them changed and she brought 3 other ones also sugarless... The service was so por... .. the music was great and the atmosphere.. that's about it.

Really like the bar, it was aesthetically, pleasing, and the onion rings was a very good, but the kitchen is closed after like nine or 10, but the beers and drinks there is mixed really well and cheap The only thing negative to say about the bar is that I did have to wait a little bit to for someone to come and ask me if I wanted something But other than that, the atmosphere is really nice, and the people is nice, and the bartenderâs work really hard Theyâre stocked full with games like pool and darts full bar in TVs

This place has gone down hill in terms of food. The last few times I have ordered I have been completely disappointed. After today I will no longer eat there. I ordered two cheese burgers. Did not come with any condiments which is ridiculous and is not what it says on their menu. The burger was completely bland not even salt. The fries were an absolute joke I thru them in the garbage again bland and not even salt and horrible texture. Called the order ahead was told 20 minutes, got there 25 minutes after the order was placed and then waited another 20 minutes. I could have gone to Walmart bought some bubba burgers and a bag of frozen fries and put the food I got today to shame. $30 down the drain.
