Kelly's and Crickets merged into one location, bringing both menus into one bar menu. Is it bar food? Is it comfort food? I say it is comfort in a bar. The ambiance is a sports bar all the way.
Sandy is the bartender/server today, and she is absolutely outstanding in her job performance. Sadly, she informed me they pool the tips, as her professionalism garnered her a 58% tip. I asked Sandy for one of their daily specials (Tuesdays is Meatloaf, mashed potatoes and green beans), six wings and one of their Jr. Burgers (medium rare). Sandy placed the order as we continued our anfractuous conversation about everything under the sun. Go, Sports Ball Team!
Before too long, our order was up and after snapping a few pictures for y'all, I got to work. Look at that scrumptious lookin' grub! Look at it! First up on my palate was the Tuesday Special. I love me a good meatloaf plate with all the fixins and this one had it in spades. The meatloaf was firm, savory and perfectly done. The gravy was obviously made in the back and not from a packet or can, as the flavoring was superb, complex and akin to the nectar of the Greek Gods. I almost asked for a bucket to go; it was so good. The green beans were great. This was perfection on a plate.
Putting down my fork and turning my attention to the wings was difficult, but I was here for a job, not to relish every bite of a delectable meatloaf. I ordered the six wings with a medium spiciness and they were just that—spot on, to be exact. They were cooked correctly and seasoned with enough kick to say a hearty hello to my palate but not enough to make me break out in a sweat. Well done, Line Cook!
Alas, I begrudgingly looked toward the last item for review today, the Jr. Burger. As you can clearly see in the picture, there is nothing “Junior” about this model of ground charred Bovine flesh. I was actually shocked at the size and had to do a double-take on the menu. After closer inspection, I discovered that their regular “Famous Kelly Burgers” are 8 oz hand-formed patties, and the Junior was a mere 6 oz. A word of advice, if I may be so bold. Do NOT use condiments on this burger. It is seasoned during formation and cooking and is delicious as is.
The Big Boy says, “ Play some pool, shoot the breeze with Sandy and eat lots of tasty burgers, wings, and things (I wager their homemade soup and chili is to die for).”

I waited 15mins to be ignored. I watched people come in and get service after me as the waitress and bartenders looked me dead in the face. I’m clearly not the demographic (BLACK FEMALE) they wanted spending money in their establishment.

Decided to check out the new Kelly's Crickets for a quick but at lunch, and we definitely plan on coming back soon! The atmosphere is awesome, very spacious. The food was delicious - mozzarella planks are the best & the Turkey Club was enough for two meals! Our server, Diane, was incredible. Overall, it was an amazing experience & highly recommend.

Don't bother trying to order from here unless you are dining in. Spent over 15 minutes on hold to place a pick up order and could hear staff chatting in the background the whole time. I've never manged to eat here as I either get hung up on or put on indefinite hold. Very disappointed.

I had been a patron for years at Kelly’s and unfortunately will not be returning. They used to be a family restaurant with great burgers. Tonight I had brought y family for dinner around 6:30 pm. As we walked up to the entrance we noticed the sign had changed to “Kelly’s/Crickets”. The entrance was packed with smokers and as we walked through a fog of cigarette smoke there was nobody to greet our family of 4. We seated ourselves and nobody had acknowledged us after 15 minutes of patiently waiting. Next to our table was a vending machine that offered horribly offensive products. I assume fan fare for the Crickets bar customers? Either way extremely inappropriate for my children to be exposed to especially with no sign or warning at the entrance. We will not be returning as it seems they have elected to follow a smoky dive bar path rather than a cozy family restaurant. Sorry Kelly’s. We do thank you for the years of good burgers before your transition. Good luck.
On my first visit here, I was told that the grill was closed even though the restaurant was not closed around 8:30 PM so me and my party left. I never came back that was two years ago.
We finally made our way back today and when we got in the place was obviously busy, and we seated ourselves. No one took notice of us entering, even though there was a server running around five minutes past 10 then 15. No one came over to even offer us a beverage. No one acknowledged us. So once we got up and left.
Service is not real here as they do not cater to the customers I cannot comment on the food because I have never had it, the atmosphere while seemed Very politically driven.
