We were so excited to go and check this place out. Since it was dark and our first time we accidentally walked into the main bar and was rudely kicked out and told to go to the next door. We almost decided just to leave but thought we’ll give it a second chance. We went into the library, found the book and was given the real spill. All 5 star reviews...really? Wow... The gal out front that greeted us was all that and more. Had a delivery and a cute presence. Made me want to venture inside and see what the place was about...after entering I immediately liked the place but hold on...The bar tender we had did not even aknowledge us for 5 minutes after we bellied up... And as far as bars go thats waaay too long... When she did come over she was matter of fact and business like. About as warm as a bank teller....read full review
This is our go-to bar for a fun nite out. The vibe at Lourdes Library is cozy and relaxed. The bartenders are super nice and make fantastic drinks. We love this place and try to go there at least once a week. We have lived in Melbourne for 40 years. And this is our favorite place of all time!🍷🍸🍹❤️❤️❤️‼️
