For more than a year, I was a devoted weekly customer of this restaurant — often ordering twice a week, recommending them to friends, and even knowing the delivery drivers and staff by name. I appreciated their food and consistency, and I genuinely believed they valued their regulars. That’s why what happened next was such a disappointment.
One evening, after placing my usual order and being told delivery would take 45 minutes to an hour, I decided to order elsewhere when another nearby restaurant promised the same meal in under 30 minutes. Within one minute, I called back to cancel my order — well before any food could have been prepared — only to be told I couldn’t cancel and that if I did, I’d be barred from ordering again. I explained politely that my group couldn’t wait that long, but the staff refused to make an exception, even after a year of loyal weekly business.
That response said everything I needed to know about how this place values its customers. Instead of showing understanding or flexibility for someone who’d spent hundreds of dollars with them, they treated me like an inconvenience. My friend, who often ordered with me, was shocked — they said, “You were like their number one customer!” Apparently, loyalty doesn’t count for much here.
Since then, I’ve started ordering from another nearby Chinese restaurant that’s not only faster, but also friendlier and more appreciative of repeat customers. The food is just as good — arguably better — and they actually treat you with respect. I won’t be returning here, and I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone who expects good customer service or appreciation for their business.

Update: Thank you for replying, ownership. I did in fact call your location directly, to order, and then immediately cancel. It was not Desiree I spoke to this time, was a man, whom I have spoken to before. Not doordash or another app, thank you.

With my wife out of town I decided to order something for dinner. Placed an order for delivery of a bourbon chicken dinner and some crab rangoon. Order showed up in about 45 minutes not the problem. The Bourbon chicken and fried rice were absolutely horrible. The amount of salt was probably enough for several dishes and the chicken was like chewing on a leather shoe string. This was a total waste of 30.20$. When I called to let them know they offered to give me back 5$ as if that was going to fix such a disaster. I did however tip the delivery driver 6$ I guess it's now time to find something edible for dinner. This place has gone so far down hill over the years.

This place is crawling with thieves! I ordered for delivery and my total price was $34.85 including tax, delivery fees, and a tip for the driver. I checked my bank account today and they adjusted the price to $38.05. When I called them they didn’t even offer a valid explanation or attempt to help. I’m someone who RARELY ever complains, and I’m not even concerned about the money, but it’s the principal of the situation. I will NEVER order from this place again for this reason.

HORRIBLE!
Ordered online for a set amount for my order.
Each day they kept adjusting the price and deducting more and more from my bank account. When I called they gave a lousy excuse that they added more tip.
Straight robbers!

Just found this gem. Each time I have ordered the food has been amazing. The people who work in the restaurant are all so friendly and accommodating. I am completely addicted to the egg rolls and their wonton soup and enjoyed trying some new dishes as well the beef and mushroom was outstanding!!!!!! LOVE THIS PLACE

Ordered a shrimp fried rice. Nice and hot but mine didn't have any vegetables. The fried rice did have egg in it.. But missing traditional sprouts and veggies.

This is my go to take out Chinese joint in Melbourne that serves quality dishes, is reasonably priced, offers a lot of menu options with decent sized portions. Check it out!

Very good Cantonese egg rolls. Meaty beef low mein. Could drink a gallon of their Wonton soup. Lots of meat too.

Absolutely disgusting food. I normally get sweet and sour chicken with pork fried rice from Malabar lucky garden but they weren’t open yet so I decided to try the Melbourne one. To start they didn’t tell me their card machine was broke so it completely ripped my chip on my card now I have to go without a debit card till I can get to the bank and get a new one. Then I get home and un bag my food and the chicken is so shriveled/hard and rubbery. Rice looked old as hell too. I tried a bite and I had to literally rip the chicken with my hand it was so rubbery. I called to let them know and immediately with an attitude was told “first off we aren’t affiliated with Malabar lucky garden and our food is always cook to order”. This food was disgusting and $20 down the freaking drain. Hopefully they just go out of business especially with their workers attitude towards customers trying to speak on the bad food they got.
