My sister and I eat lunch there yesterday. We both had Ruben's and Onion Rings. The ruben's were just okay, the meat was tender but did not really have any flavor other than the thousand island dressing on them, which my sister liked but I though was too zesty. The onion rings were on the greasy side and had no flavor, no seasoning on the breading and even the onions did have any flavor. When they brought the food out , they did not bring any ketchup so had to ask for that. Also had to ask for extra napkins. There is no pepper or salt on the table or even any placemats, table is just bare.
Our server, Lexi, was very nice but I don't think we should have had to ask for extra napkins (esp when you are using your hands to eat a sandwich) and we should not have had to ask for ketchup. We heard the table behind have to ask for ketchup for their french fries also.
This is a nice restaurant which has been remodeled (it use to be Eddie's) but they need to focus on providing better service rather than focusing being upscale.
We will try again, but it is a pricey place to eat.

This was my second time, first breakfast and I was well taken care of by Sarah and Zeke. My eggs were perfect, my Gruyère and Parmesan grits which were creamy and hearty. Bacon was thick and tasty.

Cool Halloween
It took about ten minutes to get seated, without any customer's in front of my wife and I. The red headed waitress was very nice, but not very good at her job. She took our order, but forgot to put it in to the kitchen. When our food finally came out my order was wrong, again I blame the waitress. I did not say anything because I wanted to eat. The restaurant was very clean and the food was real good. They just need to work on the Customer service.

Had a great experience at The Melbourne Kitchen! The service was amazing from start to finish. Stephen was very friendly, attentive, and welcoming. The food was great and clearly made with care. The atmosphere was inviting and comfortable, while being very modern and clean! You can tell a lot of thought went into creating this place. So happy to have a new local restaurant like this in Melbourne and will definitely be back!

This restaurant has been completely renovated and looks amazing. Ten of us were waited on by Abi. She was very attentive and took great care of us. The food was very good. Most of us had breakfast but the desserts looked wonderful! Maybe next time I’ll try one!
