Delicious seafood! As a Maine native, we are a bit more critical of the way seafood is prepared. Melbourne Seafood Station knocks it out of the park. Lobster, scallops, and shrimp are cooked to perfection, not overcooked. The seasoning (we get mild) is so delicious. This is a must stop location when we are in the area.

Based on a recommendation from our hotel, we stopped in for dinner the day after Valentine’s Day. We were greeted promptly and invited to sit wherever we liked, which was nice. It was pretty chilly inside, though, and we ended up keeping our jackets on throughout the meal.

We were told they were out of several items we originally wanted to order, including the fried oysters and the bisque, which was a bit of a disappointment. We did try the crab cake, which was good — very little filler and you could actually taste the crab, which we appreciated.

We decided on the Fisherman’s Bounty platter ($30), which came with shrimp, fish bites, oysters, and sea scallops, along with fries and coleslaw. Since they were out of oysters, they substituted extra shrimp. They were also out of hush puppies, so we received extra coleslaw instead. The portion size was generous for the price.

The fish bites were described as a combination of snapper and grouper. I found that I preferred one over the other, though I couldn’t quite tell them apart. Overall, the fried seafood could have used a bit more seasoning. We did enjoy the coleslaw.

In the end, the food was just okay for us — it satisfied our hunger, but it wasn’t memorable. I wouldn’t make a special trip to return.

The food was decent... at least what was available. They were out of many things, food and drinks. They offered suggestions for replacements, but did not advise that the replacement was much more expensive because they were pricing it a la carte. Cannot recommend.

This spot absolutely delivers on fresh seafood.

We started with a dozen raw oysters — cleanly shucked, bright, briny, and beautifully fresh. Exactly what you want when ordering them on the half shell.

Then we did what any responsible seafood lovers would do… we ordered both styles of lobster roll.

Two Connecticut-style (warm, buttered) and one classic mayo-based.

The Connecticut rolls were rich, buttery, and indulgent without being greasy. Big, tender chunks of lobster nestled in a perfectly toasted split-top bun. The warm butter just coated the meat instead of drowning it, which let the natural sweetness shine.

The classic mayo-based roll was lighter and more traditional — chilled lobster with just enough dressing to bind it, not overwhelm it. Clean, fresh, and balanced.

Both were served with crispy thick-cut fries.

We also had the lobster bisque, which was creamy, deeply flavored, and clearly made with real shell stock — not thin or overly salty. I crave this soup daily!

The only reason this isn’t a full five stars is because our order came out wrong initially. However, they corrected it quickly and the second round was spot-on.

Fresh seafood, solid execution, and a team willing to fix mistakes — that earns a strong 4.5 out of 5 from me.

Found this little gem. The fishing and sea theme decor was great to look at. The waiting and seating area was clean and presentable. Our server/waiter was very friendly and prompt with requests. The food was exceptional! Give this location a visit and you won't be disappointed! Two thumbs up!

We wanted to venture off our beaten path and try a new spot. We are seafood lovers and any Fresh seafood is right up our alley. We started with a small order of buffalo shrimp which was over sauced but pretty tasty after removing the excess. The main courses had so much butter on them that we couldn’t even eat it. There was 2 inches of fake butter over a simple shrimp and grit dish. My wife got the fresh catch and same thing, the whole meal was drowned in 2 inches of fake melted butter. The kind of butter that comes in a giant gallon liquid jug from the Looks of it. We try to eat fresh and healthy and why we chose a fresh seafood restaurant. If you like processed fake butter all over every dish then this is your place. If you like fresh seafood that doesn’t need to be smothered in fake processed oils to taste great then not so much for you. Disappointing to spend $150 on this meal say the least. I’ve been here twice, the first and the last time.
