First time here. Ordered the Eggs Benedict. No exaggeration, best I've ever had. My server Brook was amazing. And I watched as the manager moved around the restaurant making sure everyone's food and experience was wonderful. Truly great first impression.

This review is for a to-go order. The menu is pretty much go ole American classics. I grabbed the grilled meatloaf with mashed potatoes, green beans, and a side of mac and cheese. Everything was Meh. The meatloaf was okay. Very heavy on the bread crumbs and herbs. Macaroni and cheese tastes like it was close to a Stouffer's frozen dinner. The potatoes were a little too over whipped. The green beans, on the other hand ,were my favorite. Steamed still crispy with some butter on top. They had a great snap to them.

Just picked up an online order before closing time and when I got home I realized one of our side items of green beans was missing with the fried chicken plate. Also, ordered chicken and waffles and they forgot the strawberry butter AND syrup!! Tried calling but nobody answers since they're closed. Very frustrating. It was such a simple order.

We went there twice in one week first day was awesome. And the second it wasn't as great my steak tips was red I ask for well done And my husband grits was salty but they corrected his food. I didn't have any steak I decided to take home to cook to my satisfaction. We like Metro Diner and will keep going. We enjoyed Metro Diner very much. There were 6 in our party. Everyone enjoyed their food except my sister got a fried chicken sandwich and the chicken was overcooked. She couldn't eat it. She told the waitress, who offered another sandwich or to take it off the bill. That was very nice of them to try to please the customer. Other than that, the food was delicious! Prices very reasonable.Wheelchair accessibility: No stairs
