Mochinut Melbourne

I went here because I'd heard people sing praise for this style of donuts so I came and order one of each flavor they had today along with 2 of their Korean Corn Dogs (Sorry didn't take pictures of those).

I have tried all 6 flavors and they just aren't for me. They probably made them well but I won't be going back for them myself.

As for the Korean Corn Dogs I loved half of them. I got myself the potato one and the nachos cheese one, with both corn dogs as half cheese and half hotdogs. Both were absolutely delicious when it came to the cheese part. The cheese was fresh and pulled with every bite but once I reached the hotdogs the quality dropped. They tasted like the ultra cheap dollar hotdogs you can buy at Walmart.

All in All the food was okay, the Korean Corndog with only cheese being my main reason for going back. But I still would recommend you go. The donuts may not have been for me but you may enjoy them and the owners (I assume) were fantastic. They deserve your buisness.

Everything here was amazing! The donuts were fresh, soft, and perfectly chewy with the best flavors. The drinks were just as good. Friendliest staff ever, super welcoming, and the shop was clean with a great vibe. Definitely coming back! :)

New ownership and it shows. Owner was very friendly and even gave me some Dubai chocolate to try ( made in house) it was very good. I will definitely be back for more!

Under new ownership, I'm so glad I came back to give it a retry. I was truly impressed. The owner, food, drinks, chocolate were amazing. All new seating as well. I can't wait to come back.

Clean store and very friendly staff!! We ordered a Dubai cholcate bar they are homemade and delicious!! The owners even gave us a white chocolate one to try!

Donuts are pretty decent. Would NOT recommend the Korean hotdogs. Kind of soggy instead of being crispy with limited flavor.

Dry old overpriced donuts… and it’s tacky and awkward inside.

They offer orders on Too Good To Go and advise pick up is between 7pm and 7:30pm. Not a problem, except they close at 7pm and have now tried twice to pick up at order at 7:15pm and the place is completely closed. Why off Too Goo between those hours if you are not going to be open? PLUS try calling them and the number does not work.

Got their half and half potato corn dog and it was not good. Cheese half had no flavor and it was burnt looking or as if sitting out and reheated.

I stopped by on my lunch break to get a brown sugar boba. The initial interaction at the register was a bit uncomfortable — the woman taking my order seemed shy, which wasn’t an issue, but the male employee made a few rude remarks toward her while she was helping me. I let him know I could hear her and we were fine.

When I received my tea, it was unfortunately very watery and lacked any flavor. I didn’t want to make a fuss, so I left — but once I got to my car and realized I had spent $9 (including tip), I felt I should at least ask for a remake. It took a lot of courage for me to go back inside since I’m a shy person, but I politely explained that the drink didn’t have any flavor.

The male employee looked at me and said, “I can tell you for an absolute fact that there’s flavor in there,” then walked away. I was stunned and didn’t know how to respond. The female employee tried to ask more questions, but the situation became more uncomfortable until the owner, who had been sitting nearby, stepped in and allowed the drink to be remade.

While I appreciated the remake and it did taste significantly better, the overall experience left me feeling embarrassed and nearly in tears. It was an upsetting and disappointing visit, and I truly hope the staff can work on creating a kinder and more respectful environment for customers and each other.

The Korean dog i ordered was the hot cheeto one and unless you want a mouth full of mayonnaise 🤢🤮 don't order this. Update the dough was raw.

Decided to try them out through the too good to go app as it’s a easy way to try new things for cheap, pick up time for them is 7:00pm-7:30pm the day I placed my order my car got hit and I was dealing with so many things that day I realized around 7:20 that I had made a order to be picked up and I lived a good distance away, I instantly called the shop and explained everything luckily the owner answered and she was super sweet and had no issue staying late to allow me to pick up my order, multiple places that I have worked at before owners/management would of happily made employees stay after closing to wait but nope she waited till I came, and she gave us an extra box as someone didn’t pick up their order! The food was delicious! Will definitely be going back when they are actually open!!!
