Nice zoo and interesting take on some of the enclosures that allow animals to move about more. It is a small zoo and definitely not worth the price they charge.

The Brevard zoo is the most magical place!
Have kids with sensory issues/disabilities like my son does? The zoo offers Sensory bags at the front.
The area for kids has a splash pad, towards the back a sand pit and also a little jungle gym!
BUT WAIT THERES MORE!
In the kids section you can even PET ANIMALS!

The zoo should notify the public (on their website) that the Africa section has no animals on display due to reconstruction. There are no giraffes, elephants, Tigers, camels, rhinos, hippos, etc to view. The regular large animals you'd see at a zoo. Very disappointing. We wouldn't have gone at this time had we known.

we were members every year since moving to Brevard. During Covid they sent out for current members to purchase a voucher for renewal early saying that they needed money. They said that the voucher could be used when you were ready to restart the membership. I sent an email and they confirmed that the voucher would be good until I redeemed it. I purchased the most expensive membership. when I went to redeem it they said it was no longer valid. I showed the emails showing that they sold it saying it could be redeemed at anytime. The lady in the membership office rudely said she didn't care what they promised, they would not honor it.she then tried to sell me a new membership. haven't been since.

Absolutely recommend, this is the best zoo we have been too! Everyone on staff was so friendly, the Kayaking was so fun for all of us. Our Kayaking guide Abby was so knowledgeable & did a great job.
The Brevard Zoo is a wonderful smaller zoo, with amazing exhibits and diversity of animals. We have season passes and it’s so nice to walk the loops in a few hours. We always see something new and exciting. But we’re big animal and nature lovers.
The food is quite good, as is the gift shop. There are lots of event throughout the year. The zip line and adventure course is lots of fun. The volunteers are wonderful, too.

WOW. I am from Massachusetts visiting family and decided to visit the zoo and had lunch at Nourish 321 cafe. All I can say is WOW absolutely delish food and well worth the stop. Chicken cordon blue on pretzel roll and fries OUTSTANDING! Smash cheeseburger and fries great as well. My family has season pass and will definitely keep this as a lunch spot . Thank you

Wow , this food was amazing ! prices were great! I felt like I was in a great outdoor cafe’ . We got smash cheese burgers which I vote BEST in Brevard everything about it was delicious, and THE FRIES were crispy and hot and decadent. My sister got Chicken cordon Bleu on a Pretzel bun . She shared with us and the chicken breast was a huge piece perfectly fried , the bun was moist and delicious sauce amazing. And again the Fries WOW. I can not believe the food was this amazing at a ZOO. We currently have a year Zoo pass , and believe me We will visit more at lunch time for sure. Big Applause to the service , the Chef, and the manager at this wonderful restaurant. PS .. we sat and watched beautiful Flamingoes while eating this deliciousness. PLEASE give this a try you will not be disappointed! Wow applause applause
