Both Jacksonville Zoo & Zoo Miami are cheaper with more to see and do.
We used to love being members, but the value for the cost is just not there anymore.

My friend and I had a wonderful day at the zoo. Guided kayaking tour and saw different animals along the way. The guide was great but unfortunately I don't remember her name. I want to give a special review regarding our private tour guide, Dee, who took us through different exhibits and gave us a lot of information. She was amazing, even getting rained on with us. Thank you, Dee, for a fun time!

Nice zoo and interesting take on some of the enclosures that allow animals to move about more. It is a small zoo and definitely not worth the price they charge.

The Brevard zoo is the most magical place!
Have kids with sensory issues/disabilities like my son does? The zoo offers Sensory bags at the front.
The area for kids has a splash pad, towards the back a sand pit and also a little jungle gym!
BUT WAIT THERES MORE!
In the kids section you can even PET ANIMALS!
We love it here!

The zoo should notify the public (on their website) that the Africa section has no animals on display due to reconstruction. There are no giraffes, elephants, Tigers, camels, rhinos, hippos, etc to view. The regular large animals you'd see at a zoo. Very disappointing. We wouldn't have gone at this time had we known.
we were members every year since moving to Brevard. During Covid they sent out for current members to purchase a voucher for renewal early saying that they needed money. They said that the voucher could be used when you were ready to restart the membership. I sent an email and they confirmed that the voucher would be good until I redeemed it. I purchased the most expensive membership. when I went to redeem it they said it was no longer valid. I showed the emails showing that they sold it saying it could be redeemed at anytime. The lady in the membership office rudely said she didn't care what they promised, they would not honor it.she then tried to sell me a new membership. haven't been since.

Absolutely recommend, this is the best zoo we have been too! Everyone on staff was so friendly, the Kayaking was so fun for all of us. Our Kayaking guide Abby was so knowledgeable & did a great job.
