Oishii Hibachi Express & Poke Bowl

Amazing food at good prices, No complaints

Been going here for awhile but it seems to be steadily going downhill.

Chewy dried out chicken (Little to no teriyaki sauce despite asking for more) rice tasted old and the soup is just bad. Nothing here tastes fresh, it all tastes like it was cooked a day before and left to sit and they warm it up. I just can't recommend it anymore, especially when for the same price during lunchtime, you can go to Fujiyama for the same price and get everything freshly made at a higher quality with a salad and far better soup. Which is what I will be doing from now on, I only used to go here because it's closer but it simply isn't worth the time or money, very disappointing.

I've tried this place about 3 times and wanted to wait before putting in a review. Oishii is not worth the price or the wait.

I've been to many pokebowl restaurants and I've had much better food than Oishii. I feel like this store takes advantage of the fact that there are so few pokebowl places in Brevard county.

What I really didn't like about this place is the pricing is a bit high than other stores I've been to. I think 10-12$ is reasonable for a total price but their base price before toppings is between 11-13$. The fish is always brown and unpleasant.

We asked for sauce on our bowls and they coated the fish instead. Other places would squirt the sauce over the bowl and I feel like they only coated the fish to save on product.

Everything here feels like they bought it directly from Publix, which is probably why it feels hit or miss.

We also were charged for a tip that we don't remember being asked for. Regardless I think I'll wait another six months to see if it has changed.

update: they called us and credited us for the drink immediately, i appreciate them taking care of it so well. i was sad to leave such a bad review as this is my favorite hibachi place with the best hibachi and boba. this has never happened before in the several years i’ve been coming and i won’t let it stop me from coming back next time. while it’s scary, mistakes happen and i trust that this won’t happen again. their food is amazing

i’ve been coming here for years, it’s always been my favorite hibachi place but i am absolutely horrified right now. i get the matcha boba every time and today when i got to the bottom of my drink something felt weird in my mouth so i took it off my tongue and it was a bug. it was literally in my mouth on my tongue. i am traumatized!! i don’t even know what this is. the food is amazing and so is their matcha boba but wtf… how did this happen?

Food was awesome!!! Staff Friendly our only thing was we were questioned about our mode of payment before eating not sure if this is standard for this restaurant. This is our first time being questioned about mode of payment before services were actually rendered. Was told by staff it’s because of the tourism.

Absolutely amazing! Favorite food place in Melbourne!

The steak is tender, a good portions and it’s yummy like the yum yum sauce! Also decided to give the boba tea a try and it’s delicious! The staff are very friendly and quick. I will definitely be coming back maybe to try the poke bowl. 10/10 very recommend!

lady running the front was completely rude and disrespectful! All I said was I didn’t want the teriyaki sauce and she lost it ask if we had ever even eaten hamachi before and what are we first timers.. this place really needs to be shut down the salmon was definitely thawed out and left out the soup tasted like it was cooked days ago…

Man I didn’t want to have to write this. We order from Oishii often and I swear they have the best poke bowls around.
Unfortunately we ordered today on a Sunday after church for lunch and it was such a disappointment. None of the bowl was chilled, the tuna’s top layer was brown and underneath was more pink. It look (and tasted) like it had been sitting out and thawed for quite some time. I ended up throwing it out.
We’ll give this place another chance but this was pretty obviously gross. Don’t serve this, you’ll lose loyal customers.

This place is usually really good, I was disappointed this time around. Ordered on Uber eats and the stake was like bubble gum, super chewy, undercooked almost rare when I ordered medium rare, and the rice was super bland. Just disappointed in the meal :(
