My son and I were very impressed with the service, cleanliness and quality and variety of the sushi here. The other options were inconsistent however, the tempura and other "chinese" offerings were sometimes hot and fresh and sometimes not, the oysters on the half shell were in very short supply, so maybe you could get 6 and they would not be replenished within the hour meaning 6 was the limit...lol not a buffet item obviously...the variety of foods , other than sushi, was very low. I did give 4 stars though for quality overall thru our 4 visits.

Spur of the moment. I did a search for sushi near me and this buffet showed up. We went for lunch on a Saturday. Everything was fresh as very tasty. The quality was high and the price exception for fresh sushi. A good experience. And of course everyone over ate.

Absolutely amazing, my favorite sushi buffet in the entire state. The service is usually quick and accurate, and the food is super delicious. I'm no food critic, but I try to go here with my family any weekend I can! I'd definitely reccomend at least trying this place out, it might even become a new favorite!

I was happily surprised with this place. When my friend told me to meet him at a "BUFFET" i was very skeptical, not used to them at all. This restaurant was very clean, fresh food, variety of sushi , hibachi grill and even some popular Chinese dishes. It was good!!

I'm sorry, the place was clean and the staff was nice but I won't eat here again. The sushi tasted old, the tempura was cold the fried dumplings were so hard and the egg drop soup looked really dark and old. Not worth the $14.99 really dissatisfied sorry.

Food is okay as Chinese buffet is concern. Place is clean, well lit and good service. Great sushi variety although no brown rice option on any sushi.

They literally mix shellfish with chicken....what the f**** that's all i need to know to drop my plate and not come back, you mix potential allergenic/deadly food to people with f****** chicken, god knows what truly foul s*** happens behind kitchen doors...

My wife and I wanted to try dining at different place last night. We wondered what kind of menu items would be available at 7:30pm on Friday night at Sakura's Buffet; regardless of the half empty serving trays and the visibly dried up entrees we decided to try the cuisine. The fried rice had more flavor than most other asian restaurants in town, (Chinese restaurants, Thai or fusion), but it fell short of the great flavor from Pho Viet's Noodle house combination fried rice. That said most of the entrees we selected were ok but nothing to write home about. Despite having a wide selection of sushi and tempura items ready on the buffet line, we felt that the meal was a bit overpriced for the low quality presentation and lack of distinct flavor. I am sure you can find a more desirable meal for $18 per person + tip anywhere else you may like in town. We hope in time the management can improve the quality of the food serve, even if the quantity of menu items is reduced. I believe this restaurant can potentially compete wIth other similar restaurants in town but they need to offer good, if not great, quality food with an unique flavor of their own.
