Very first time eating here, made reservations ahead of time to take my wife for a special Valentine’s Day dinner. Unfortunately was not impressed, we were very saddened when an elderly couple in front of us there to celebrate both Valentine’s Day and their anniversary were told because they hadn’t made reservations they could only sit at a tall hightop table that was impossible for them as they were disabled and using walkers, turned away and left, even though there were multiple open tables the entire time we were there from beginning to end. Positives: The service was relatively good, food for the most part was good. Negatives: We and every customer was only offered a very limited one page menu, was never told this was the case when making the reservation, our table was horribly off balance and rocking back and forth, we almost lost our drinks off the table a few times, finally reached out to the manager who had the shim up the table. Another poor couple eating dinner next to us had the same issue, but theirs was the table top and could not be fixed. My wife’s asparagus was mostly just the thick, hard inedible trunks of the asparagus, some over an inch around!(see photo) Another thing, our meals were both delivered without steak knives, we had to wait 5 minutes while our steak and pork chops were getting cold before we could begin to eat them! I have to I was extremely unimpressed with The Mansion and will most likely not be going back there again.

Girlfriend’s burger was undercooked so bad it had a pink cold center. We sent it back and they brought it back her back the same burger (that she already cut in half) on a new bun and with a new side of fries. They put the bacon over the cut she made in the burger… I know it’s the same burger because it had the onions on it that she scraped off that was supposed to be on MY burger haha
Terrace bartender was good and nice though.

Restaurant was laid out nicely, but staff completely forgot about our anniversary reservation. Didn’t acknowledge it at all, forgot where our table was. We waited over an hour and for our food and the burger was far too over cooked. (I ordered a medium) the waiter brought our food to the wrong table. No one came to offer us refills on our drinks, nor just to check in. Management didn’t seem to care at all. This was my first time coming to this restaurant, and first impressions are hard to beat. Very disappointed. Will not be returning.
I previously wrote a glowing review here, but they took every single good menu item away :/ The quality has also declined on what is left. Such a bummer - it used to be great!

We went there for the Providence Place fund raiser and the food and service were wonderful. The bruschetta, wings, shrimp, bacon wrapped shrimp and some yummy grilled veggies were delicious finger food for the large crowd. The power point showed the plans for the new facility to replace the Daily Bread soup kitchen.
