There’s a smoking area airside after passing through security… but only rich people are allowed to use it. It’s a terrace located off the Premium Lounge. Which costs $40 per person to enter. The Dragon Lady who manned the entry desk was quite curt when she said we had to pay $40 per person if we wanted to smoke.
MLB has always been my preferred airport to fly in and out of. Airport Staff are all very accommodating, friendly, helpful and professional. And very, very polite.
Processing at check-in is fast and efficient as well is going through Security Checkpoint.
Airport appearance is meticulously clean.

The Tap Room at the airport offers a variety of tasty dishes and a nice selection of beers. While the portions may be small and the cell service/Wi-Fi could be improved, the prices are reasonably affordable for an airport establishment. Visitors have enjoyed drinks like a peanut butter cup martini and an old fashioned, along with wings, fries, and burgers. The server, Alicia, was mentioned for her excellent service, being welcoming, helpful with menu recommendations, and making an excellent margarita. The Cranberry Walnut and Pecan Salad was also highly recommended by a customer. The airport itself is very clean, with friendly, helpful staff and smooth processing. The Tap Room is considered a great spot inside the airport, with visitors planning to return every time they fly out.
