What a delightful place! I met a friend here for tea and will be back again. We had a pot of tea and scones, which was perfect for an afternoon snack. The food is homemade and the tea very high quality. We also sampled the Chai Latte. Mmmm, delicious. Be sure to stop in if you can.

Patrons of downtown Melbourne will recognize this sweet spot from its former location across from Iron & Oak. Now adjacent to Whiskey Business, the original tea house of downtown is back in business and better than ever.
Passionate owners have created a wonderful menu, from loose leaf teas to baked goods and a daily soup, and everything edible is made in house.
For the quality of their offerings made from scratch, the prices can’t be beaten; see my photos of the menu. I enjoyed a wonderful cup of Apricot herbal tea from loose leaf in a beautiful pot. A cookie on the side was $1.25.
There are also daily specials. I was tempted by the $7 bowl of Lentil soup (with rosemary bread). I can’t wait for the summer soup lineup to drop!
There are cute gift items for sale, a chessboard (and timer), gorgeous seating, and all around good vibes.
They just reopened in the past few days (Jan 2026), and the owner said they will expand hours as they train staff.
UPDATE (2/18/26): They are now open Wed and Thursday 12 pm - 6 pm, and Fri - Sun 8 am - 8 pm.
It’s my favorite new “pregame” spot before a downtown outing. Come here to get hydrated, then go partake in libations down the street!

The Tea House was lovely, the new location and management are amazingly hospitable... We tried new treats with our teas, which were superb. We started with the blueberry scone (not pictured) and it came with strawberry whipped butter which was a surprising delight... However, the Sugar Tea Cookies were PHENOMENAL!! My husband and I tried the Vanilla (not pictured), Chai and Matcha cookies and had to order 6 cookies to take home! Do not sleep on these cookies!

This is the sweetest little tea shop—perfect for a cozy escape. My mom and I stopped in to catch up over a warm mug of tea, and we’re so glad we did.
We shared cucumber sandwiches, a warm blueberry scone (made even better with their fresh strawberry butter!), and a vegan curry empanada that was to die for—especially with the magic sauce Kaia brought out.
Whether you’re a tea lover or just need a quiet moment, this spot is worth a visit.

We had the afternoon tea for our group of 6. The teahouse is beautiful, and there is a great variety of teas. There are lots of vegetarian options, and the food was fantastic. It was a fun experience, so happy we got the chance to experience it.
