Our usual wine bar was overbooked and we decided to give Amici's wine bar a try. We've eaten at Amici's proper and it is good, so we had confidence going in. It was quickly shattered. The waiter who seated us looked at his wits end. Like he wasn't firing on all cylinders. Brought us some bread and we asked him about gluten free options on the charcuterie board and he gave us a puzzled and confused look. He said he would go check with the kitchen and thus ended our last meaningful interaction with the staff. Another waitress came by to drop off some bread and looked less confused than the waiter. She offered to take our drink order and since it had been ten minutes since we talked to anybody, we decided to give her our food order to be safe. Two glasses of wine and a charcuterie board which listed for $40. My hopes were high as this is a premium price. But if you look at the picture below, you will see the utter crap that came out of the kitchen. 6 items. A burata dropping oil over the side of the board, a couple of slices of production rolled up like toilet paper, some artichoke pieces spooned into a pile, a couple of squares of a white cheese, some off smelling soprasatta maybe, gorgonzola crumbles that look intended for a salad and some kalamatta olives. The whole thing sprinkled with sliced parmigiana. It was ludicrous. Every time we went to get something off of the lazy Susan board it was plated on, it wobbled precariously. There was no bread, today points out crackers served with it. I tracked down the waitress after some time in a different room and inquired if any kind of bread came with it and she said no. So at this point we were ready to leave. We finished our winner. Scooped up the gorgonzola with a fork along with the artichoke pieces. At this point our wine had been empty for 10 minutes and we saw no sign of any wait staff. We carried on our conversation and still no sign of life. Tracked down the harried and confused waiter to get our check. He delivered it to the table and refilled my empty water glass. We settled the bill and will not be returning.

To say it straight, this place sucks. the service was absolutely horrible! Took forever to be sat and the waiters were giving my table so much attitude... the food was pretty crappy and I could've gotten something better from Walmart. Not what I expected, horrible experience.

Basically ignored as soon as we were sat, no waiter came to check on us and we had to flag down someone anytime we needed something. We asked about gluten free options such as crackers and they had absolutely nothing. We ordered a charcuterie board for 40 dollars and it came on a wobbly lazy susan and had piles of random meats, cheeses, crumbled cheese we had to eat with a fork, and didn't even have any crackers to eat it with. Waiters were pissy for no reason and everything was way overpriced.

Braised beef risotto and sausage bologna was amazing. Wine choices were good. We wouldn’t recommend appetizer Brie. We will definitely be back again.

Service was ok. Food was ok but not great. Was charged a service charge of $3+ for the use of a credit card. Bill for 2 was $98. Over priced for what we ordered.

Amici's is my favorite local Italian restaurant. By far, the best thing on the menu is the RIGATONI BOLOGNESE! Outstanding! Try it!
I along with a date went to Amici's Chef Table last night. The food was medicore at best. I feel bad for the waiter as she was very good. My major disappointment was when I received the check a SURCHARGE was present on the bill for use of a credited card. I was not happy for a is supposed to be a fine dining restaurant to charge a surcharge. The bill was over $200 for two people (prices are $$$$) and II can tell you I will never go back to Amici's as this nothing more than nickel and dime tactics that I would expect from a breakfast restaurant. I asked if they had a sign stating that they charge a surcharge, well they do. It is located on the right side of the entrance door about 6 1/2 feet high and in almost subtle colors where you can barely make it out in the dark. See the attached photo. Bottom line, save your money go to Don's, the Dove, or Chart House if you don't want to be "nickel and dime'd" like this place. Very sad that they need do this when they are charging fairly high prices.
Neat out of the way spot in Melbourne. Very cozy with surprisingly good Italian. I had the Chicken Picatta and my wife had the Eggplant Parmigiana. Both excellent! Great pizza and the service was outstanding. This place has a following so I’d suggest call ahead seating.

Great specialty ice cold libations to accompany the incredibly delicious appetizers and entrees. Thank you to everyone in the bar libations me and everyone in the kitchen feeding me.
You want Italian? You got it. Extensive menu. Reliable. Exactly what you expect. Pizza, Pasta, Salads, everything Italian, plus there is a bakery next door. The only downside is that the place is so popular, you're probably going to have to wait for a table. But the wait is worth it.
My husband and I are from NY. Originally he is from Calabria and I am Sicilian. Honestly, I don’t know how they got the good reviews they did! Our anniversary dinner was a horrible experience! Veal was shaved and the sauce was…well let’s say, I’d rather eat pasta from Pizza Hut! Horrible horrible horrible! On a good note the server was wonderful!
My wife ordered the Ziti for lunch yesterday: Meat sauce with Meatballs or Sausage for $14. This is exactly how it read on the menu. When we received our bill, we were charged an additional $10 for the 2 average size meatballs. When we questioned the charge, both the server and the manager stared at the menu for 2 minutes like it was the first time they had ever seen the menu. The manager still defended the charge. It was an unpleasant experience. After arguing our case, the manager dropped the price to $4. She admitted she would have to change the menu . Finally, she agreed to remove the charge . Resolving their error took 20-30 minutes. The food was decent , but not as good as it used to be. We have been coming here for over 10 years. We will NOT be coming back.
I wrote some suggestions to the owner. 08/29/21 Their response was awesome! Cannot wait to go back to the cellar and to visit the chef's table! Great food, great place, great atmosphere, great wine selection. 08/30/21
