My husband and I drove from Lakeland, FL. to eat here.The food and service are exceptional. We fell in love with the town and the people. Unfortunately in October God took my husband home,I'm hoping to get back to Melrose and have lunch at the restaurant some day in the future. The price is also very reasonable.
My mom is in town from TX and we wanted to really get a great meal. Man we hit a home run. Reagan was our server. She recommended the fried seafood platter. It was AMAZING. We've been in Florida for four years and this is one of the top five meals we've had in that time. Thank you so much Blue Water Bay. The fried shrimp was the best I've ever had. 50 years on earth and it was the best!
Food is good most of the time, the service is decent, it has an interesting decor, but the loud-mouthed bartender has ruined the nice evening every single time for the past year. Too bad they don't have tables outside.
