“We stopped here for lunch and ordered their hand pie (sweet potato) and the special: tomato soup/grilled cheese on focaccia bread. All of it was so good and tasty! In the pictures, the hand pie is folded. I opened it up to allow it to cool down. We also made a find on a locally roasted coffee in Gainesville. The Melrose Center was serving their coffee. It just so happen it was sold there. We purchased a pound of the Sweetwater dark roast Cafe Cubano French Roast. We made it at home the next morning. It was smooth and fantastic especially if you enjoy dark roast coffees without any bitter or aftertaste.”

“What a great little spot for lunch. The burgers and the fried chicken are delicious and cooked to perfection. The sides are delicious too. Bobbi, Corey, Jenn, Maci& Shailee all provide a friendly and festive atmosphere for dining in. This is a great place for a great meal.”

“Arrived in Melrose early for a family dinner and decided to grab a beer at Melrose Pub while waiting for the rest of my party to arrive. Walked in and was immediately greeted in the most friendly way by patrons and bartender alike. Enjoyed an icy-cold Yuengling from the bottle ($3) and was treated like a part of the family. As a non-smoker, the only part I did not enjoy was the thick cigarette smoke. But no complaints here, this is a great little local spot where I will definitely return for another visit when traveling through this area!”

“The food was awesome! Do not go by the pictures you see posted of food. They are really exaggerated by the amount of Lobster. Also, the Lobster Bisque had a tiny little itty bitty piece of actual lobster in it. Don't go by the pic with lobster piled on top. The soup was DELICIOUS! I added extra lobster from one of my sandwiches. I am really glad they were in my area today!”

“This was our 2nd time eating at Cedar River in Keystone. We have nothing but great reviews and comments on both times. The best and friendliness service from the time you walk in the door until you leave. The servers are the best most attentive you can find. The food is amazing each time we have been the portions are more than plenty. The service is fast even on a busy Saturday night. It is about 20 miles from home I will gladly drive that for the food and service we get there. Thank you Cedar River we will be back.”

Had extremely polite staff and the Clyde omelet was off the chain which was a lot of food and could be shared but if you are extremely hungry this was the way to go! We had 11 men there and ordered 5 or 6 Clyde omelets and the others got different breakfast specials and it was all great! Highly recommend!!!!!!”

“Great service from Amanda, refreshing tea, tender beef brisket, yummy mustard forward bbq classic sauce and sweet bbq sauce, bbq beans and smoked lime beans and.... jonny cake. Delicious ? They are very generous with drinks the cups are huge. We ordered the lunch brisket and turkey breast.we both agreed brisket was better. I expected to get a smoked turkey breast but instead received what looked like turkey lunch meat. We will go back as we would like to try the ribs.”

“Most often my family and I have enjoyed China House’s piping hot and made to order Chinese dishes as takeout. Sometimes we have met together at the restaurant for a meal in their clean and pleasant dining room. Their service is outstanding and over the past 11 years of experience coming here, we’ve tried everything and asked to have many dishes made to specific dietary needs.
